These stories always have funny clues that disqualify suspects that in any other investigation would not rule them out...because they never consider lying. Like they find out the "ghost" is wearing makeup and then rule out a suspect because they said they were allergic to makeup. Lol if I was committing a crime where I had to wear makeup I'd lie about being allergic to it to alleviate suspicion. Still one of the better volumes in the series.

I can't believe the wrestler was a ghost the whole time...
Honestly, this is one of the better books in the series. We very much enjoyed it.
Clues were fun and the twist was interesting. Had the least blatant spelling/grammatical errors so far. No clear accidental narrator swaps.

Once again the boy enjoyed this mystery, but it was a little too simple for my liking.

My 6 year old loved the mystery and that she got to figure it out with their clues. She gives it 5 stars.

Out of the four or five Scooby-Doo books we've read so far, all this month, this is my least favorite. Julia liked it just as much as the others, if not more, but the wrestling aspect did nothing for me because I can't stand anything even having to do with wrestling.
This is the first Scooby book we've read in the "Collect the Clues Mystery" though and this we did both enjoy. The book is narrarated directly to the reader and for a young child who hasn't come across this much - or ever - it's pretty cool. (Pretty cool to watch the kid too.)
Throughout the book you'll see two symbols, a flashlight which signals a clue to be found or a pair of "googly" eyes (Julia's description) which signals a suspect. There are a few questions asked at the end of the chapters. Questions along the lines of, "What suspect was found in this chapter?", "Why would this suspect possibly kidnap Babyface Foster?", and "What does the clue tell you about the kidnapping?".
The clues and suspects are all very simple. My five year old was able to answer all of the questions without any help although she - and I - were both wrong as to who the suspect was. Even with the huge clue right smack in the middle of the book. :)
All in all it's a great interactive read for younger kids. Any fan of Scooby and the gang will love it. Super great for young reluctant readers as well.

tres amusant! i didnt expect it to be a collect the clues mystery. i just bought it because it looks cute. but yeah, had fun nosing around, oui!

I like to read kids books and I love Scooby Doo. I enjoyed the book and how it engages the kids to solve the mystery on their own before they are given the answers.
