I can't wait to visit NZ! It looks incredibly beautiful and sounds so interesting. When we watched the "Lord of the Rings Trilogy," I longed to see it for myself, but felt it was probably just a dream. Can't believe we'll actually get to do it. The natural beauty abounds; I had know idea they had Fjords, which we'll spend a whole day cruising. This book was VERY helpful.
I am planning an epic journey to Australia (again) and New Zealand this summer. This guidebook lists all the favorite and highly recommended hiking trails, accommodations, and restaurants on New Zealand's South Island, which I find incredibly useful.
This book is perfect for people, like me, who have been bitten by the travel bug or simply marvel at the world's most mesmerizing scneries and natural wonders and wish to learn more about them. I found that a few companies listed in the book have "permanently closed" due to its outdated edition, printed in 2014.
Has a lot of specific information about New Zealand and I learned about places to see. It was helpful to focus on the areas we are going to. However, it would be more useful if we could take it with us, but we can't since it's a library book. We are trying to travel light, which may hamper our info we have while on the trip.
