I read everything by Dali that I could find in my youth. Conversations I read many years ago. The contents are soon forgotten but readily come back clearly on reading again decades later.

Anyone can take the piss. It takes a special showman to take the piss out of taking the piss.

I didn’t even finish this book beacuse Dali was so disgusting.I picked up this book thinking it was going to be a great opportunity to learn about one of the greatest surrealist painters but I was wrong.Dali displayed a lot of disgusting views about the Roma people saying they have unwashed ansuses,he was a supporter of the Fraco regime in Spain and had a sadistic idea for a party in which he planned to suffocate a pig in a box with microphones inside so that the entire audience could hear the agonizing screams.He lacked any respect or empathy for others and was just a disgusting human being which made the book excruciatingly hard to read.

Kompletna knjiga je višednevni intervju Alena Boskea sa Salvadorom Dalijem u hotelskoj sobi u Parizu. Dok mi se, sa jedne strane, veoma dopala odlučnost Boskea da dobije odgovore na svoja pitanja, a Dalijeva da ih ne pruži, sa druge strane, mislim da većina postavljenih pitanja ne donosi nikakva nova znanja o samom Daliju, već da mu samo pruža šansu da dalje igra svoju ulogu superiornog umetnika.

Međutim, u nekim momentima je moguće primetiti menjanje dalijeve ličnosti, kada on iz megalomana prelazi u skromnog slikara, ljubitelja nauke i svega neobičnog.
