Delightful; reads like a cross between an old-timey English town gossip newspaper and a D&D sourcebook. Full of secret romances, fights, spirits, and witches.
I’ve never “read” a book of music like a work of fiction before this, but the author, quite a character, writes a short blurb for each of the 100+ tunes. Quite a lot of fun, even if I haven’t played any of the tunes yet!
