However, this may be a good book for early readers because of its rhyme and repetition. Readers would likely be able to pick up on the book's pattern very quickly. The pace is consistent, and the colorful and detailed illustrations convey movement and mood very well. Children will probably be able to relate to this story if they have pets or love animals.

This is a quick rhyming read about a girl and her puppy, and all the activities they do together. From playing outside to getting into bed, these two have a wonderful time together and the puppy is obviously happy just to be loved.
