We read a different letter section every week. The students love the book, the characters and the illustrations. It is a wonderful introductory tool to the alphabet.

Have you ever seen a book and been instantly transported back to your childhood well this is definitely one of them books for me which is why i had to buy it for my kids, its basically what it saids on the cover your ABC's except this has been made a little extra fun because each letter has a name for example Annie Apple, jumping jim and oscar orange and next to it a matching picture depicting the letter and a small paragraph explaining who they are. For me as a child it definitely made the alphabet more memorable and a hell of alot more fun, hopefully my boys will think so too!

My kids beg my to read this to them. We've been going through a few letter characters before bedtime, and I'm amazed at how well they can remember the "names" of each character (and once you know the name, you know the sound) - even my three year old. She'll look through it herself, saying all (most) of the names and searching for items on each page that start with that sound. I'm sure there are other books like this, but I really like this one.
