Just one distraction could lead to failure-several may spell ruin.
As the daughter of the wealthiest Black man in the country, Rose Ross struggles to make a name for herself as the COO of her father's tech company. She's even forced to let go of a promising relationship to focus on her career, but still cannot seem to escape her father's legacy. Rose fears that if she remains at Rick Ross Enterprises, she will never rise above the vast shadow his name casts.
When her ailing friend reaches out to her for help, Rose doesn't hesitate. She has just thirty days to curate the most important charity art exhibition in Europe and break into a field she is truly passionate about. However, just before she leaves for her flight to Belfast, her father informs her that she has only three weeks to decide whether she will succeed him as CEO.
With her concentration already split between one life-altering decision, Rose is stunned when she meets her friend's handsome and overprotective brothers. Right away, she recognizes an undeniable, yet different, attraction to both.
Her mind in turmoil, Rose's focus is now fractured among love and business. If she cannot make a decision-or if she makes the wrong one-she will lose everything she has worked for and, perhaps, more.

What drew me initially to this book was how beautifully it was written. The poetic descriptions and intriguing quotes caught my attention. But it was Rose that kept my attention. I loved what she represented. She was a feminine, wealthy, black woman living her best life. Even when she did frustrate me, I could still get behind her living her best life and doing what was best for her! So many good and attractive men surrounded her. I honestly did not know who she would pick until the end. To be honest, I also did not know who I wanted Rose to pick especially between the two brothers. Both were seductive and manly in their own ways. I don't want to spoil too much but. This was definitely well-written and the way the connections between the male characters were made, it was hard to choose who was the best for Rose. So, the only thing that was left to do was continue reading to find out. Definitely a good read.
A easy, beautiful, knowledgeable read! The details that went into every element of this story were incredible; from the way the characters were written to the details and history behind the Art and Culture in Ireland. I loved how Rose was written as a bold, beautiful, “knows what she wants”, feminine woman who held her own despite coming from money. The incorporation of action, spice, history and humor really made this a great story and I enjoyed every minute.
This is my debut novel and, of course, my current favorite. It's the story of Rose Ross, a strong businesswoman struggling to rise above the vast shadow of her wealthy father’s name and her journey of self-discovery and love during her thirty days in Belfast.
Just one distraction could lead to failure—several may spell ruin.
Rose Ross, the thirty-two-year-old COO of Rick Ross Enterprises, knows four things for sure.
One. She wants to make a name for herself. Two. She’s on a tight deadline. Three. She’s easily distracted under pressure. Four. Distractions equal men.
Now she has just three weeks to choose the course of her career—and her love life.
30 Days In Belfast is a character-driven novel available February 7. You can pre-order on Amazon at https://a.co/d/0C7yAIL or other online retailers.
Really enjoyed this 'steamy' and interesting novel by Rita Gordon. You may need a fan a few times to cool you down, but the book is well written and interesting for sure. The main character Rose has a few decisions to make re: men in her life and the ending is surprising for sure. A good read.
This book was very well written. I started with the authors second book and while both great in terms of history and story telling this one lacked the romance I was looking for. IDK but it kind of turned me off that the brothers were essentially vying for her attention at the same time. Also, was I the only one that started rooting for Troy? Seemed highly unlikely as he seems like he’s very much a professional but as I read I started to see some chemistry or friendship.
I enjoyed this book. It’s definitely different than my usual go to books. I will say that I’m used to a bit of Irish Gaelic being used by Irish men so I feel that would’ve probably made the book more exciting. It’s not the typical romance because it’s basically about a single a well established woman exploring her options with men while on a work trip. She doesn’t make the decision until about the last 5% of the book. Overall, it’s a pretty good book.
