I hate Sponge Bob as a general rule of having any sense of taste whatsoever. But my daughter picked it out and I'm hardly one to tell her she can't read a book. The story was actually pretty cute and not nearly as crass as the television show. It was a very easy read and the story line was obviously rushed for a younger audience but the premise was fine.

I normally don't like SpongeBob stories they are usually very hyper for me. But my special needs teen age sons both love him so I do read him for them. This book I even liked. It wasn't hyper but a story and had several of the regular characters in it. And sort of a mystery even though as usual it was SpongeBob's 'forgetfulness' and at the end he does save the day.
