Some of this is so not applicable in Mexico unless I want to have strange looks or sneers! Needs a South of the border version.

Great Book. It has the Spanish and the English side by side, page 1 then page 2. But not every page, only the example conversations, take up about 4 pages each chapter. It has page to page translations which is why I recommend it. And when there is a saying, in Spanish, it shows the literal meaning in echas flores 'giving compliment,' (throw flowers). If anything, this book is Very Good quality, because it shows where meaning sometimes needs the literal and the local translation. Obtenga this book. I use it by my desk, and I read a chapter at night. I can see grammar instantly in both Spanish and English, without turning pages.
