A brief look at reflexology. Some techniques mixed in with practical, holistic wellness advice/common sense. Whether you believe in reflexology or not, there’s really no harm in giving yourself a nice hand or foot massage. The instructional photos are underwhelming — illustrations might’ve been better here.

I am currently a reflexology student. I can see myself recomending this book to all of my clients. This book is exactly what it says, a busy persons guide to reflexology. Though it does explain (with amazing photos) how to perform a reflexology session on the feet, the emphasis is on self treatment of the hands. A quick flip through the book will show you what reflexes to work for mentrual cramps, motion sickness, fatigue, headaches, sinusitus, indigestion...the list goes on. It even has helpful hints for what essential oils would be helpful for different ailments. This is a fabulous book for self treatment in between regular reflexology sessions and could potentially make your need for professional treatments less frequent.
