This person is a plagiarist. She steals other writer 's ideas, even character names and descriptions. When I read the blurb on her book I was shocked to discover that it was identical to mine. I had submitted it for publication, only to face rejection. However, it seemed that her book was published a short time later. Very interesting. I bought her book and was again shocked to see that Gibson had even shamelessly used character names I had created. Granted, the story was not like mine, but I just wonder what makes her such a great writer if she can't even come up with her own ideas. I had to revamp my own book so people would not accuse me of the same thing. So glad to have found out in time.

An enjoyable, but fairly predictable scifi romance.
Zorroc, leader of Gattonia has come to Earth to grab women for his planet because their own women have been mostly rendered sterile, due to a race called Dargons.
He has a woman in mind for his own, Catarina, but she is in fact Gattonian. Her parents being of a High House of Gattonia. She has no idea of this of course.
I quite liked some of the twists and turns and being a Trekkie, loved the fact that the Head Dargon was named Gorn, and in fact looked like Gorn.
It was a good read. Had all the SF PNR qualities I enjoy: good and bad aliens; georgeous, large, muscled alpha males; strong, interesting women; conflict; betrayal; war; and, of course, love and passion. Now I'm off to read the next book in the series, Sherem, Feline Predators of Ganz.
Though it's of the "Mars-Needs-Women" Trope, it's a bit deeper than the usual. I'm looking forward to the two sequels, which both feature heroes introduced in the first book. I hope both also feature characters from the first book, since I would like to know what happens to them.
