In this fourth book in the Sister Circle series, Evelyn discovers the true purpose of Peerbaugh Place. "A Place to Belong" also holds a surprise that will shock readers and bring the series to a dramatic and satisfying close.

Wow, what a series. I thoroughly enjoyed and became a part of these wonderful 4 books. They are about women (I saw myself in many instances), their struggles and strengths, their doubts and their victories, and some women even turning over to God their all. Books written for women by women of great faith. As you can see I Loved the Sister Circle books and good Christian fiction.
I have read about 75 books already this year &it is only July. This Sister Circle series has touched me and taught me the most. Although the book is fiction, the verses from the Bible and the road to salvation is the Absolute TRUTH!!! The words on these pages in the books in this series shows us how we all should be living our lives for the Lord. This starts out with Evelyn facing an empty house again, as the ladies in the boarding house have found their going out on their own, leaving one by one. Piper is the only one left to rent a room&her wedding is coming soon. Evelyn who likes her home full, with her boarders as friends who add to their sister circle was they become involved in each others life. Her love for Wayne, Piper's father, makes her wonder if they will ever declare their love for each other. As her rooms fill up with ladies in need. Evelyn, happy to open her house up to those in need but is concerned where she will find money to live without any rental income coming in. Audra finds herself bitter at the unexpected news from her husband. Mae's family surprises her once again. Tessa's new foundation is growing and another mystery lady in her life needs a lifeline. All this comes just over a month from the fast approaching wedding event of the season, as Piper&Gregory lives change forever. In a battle of good versus evil, it is no surprise who wins this battle. I wish the series kept going on for many, many more books!
Like with all the others, the book comes across as naive and too good to be true at times, so I cannot recommend the series without a disclaimer.... but I wish I could, because I absolutely loved the entire series. Right book at the right time I guess, but it was exactly the type of book / series I was in the mood to read - a thought-provoking comfort read. And as such, it fit the bill perfectly.
I found it funny how Piper went from only being a minor character in the first book, to almost being the main character in these last few. But all the sisters seem like people I'd love to meet in real life.
I sat up until past midnight to finish this, and am sad to have reached the end of the series.
In A Place to Belong, the fourth in a series of four books in the Sister Circle series, all ragged ends are tied up in a sweet bow. Evelyn finds love and Piper finds a mother. The original occupants of Peerbaugh Place all return for Piper-'s wedding and a new venture is launched.
This is the last in a series all about friendship. As a reader I felt pain when the characters felt pain and not when they felt joy. The authors bring the characters to life and you start to look at them as your friends. This series made me desire my own sister circle! It was great!
Fun conclusion to the series! I loved how they wrapped up what I suspected throughout the entire four books. My heart was drawn to Evelyn and her sisters. She worked hard to keep her boarding house going but still remained partial to being a friend above a business woman.
I do think the handmade mints for the bridal shower was a bit over the top however.
I will miss this series and all the amazing characters. The ending had me in tears. The best part of this series was the Sisters Circle Network and the Worry Box. I highly recommend this series to all Christian women.
Started out just "liking" this series, but ended up "loving" it! I enjoyed watching the spiritual growth of the characters throughout. I love reading books that inspire me to better my relationship with God, and this series certainly did that!
I liked this book the best of all four books. There were so many different situations to resolve & many individuals involved. It was great. As in the other books. I appreciated the biblical references & how important God was in the lives of everyone involved.
I've been wanting a good series of books to sink my teeth into and suddenly there was a 1st sister circle. Now I've purchased the 5th and last. These books are wonderful.
Who does not want a perfect ending. Valleys and mountain top moments, spun into a delicious tale. People I would love to know and have in my life. Taste and see for yourself.
Another great read in one of my favorite series. A series of women friendships, prayers , faith journeys and truly captures the importance of having SISTER CIRCLES in my life !!!
I can’t wait to share the handbook with my Sister Circle to help us grow in friendship and faith !!!
This was a very good series and finished quite well. Lots of surprises, and real life problems to figure out. Our God is a wonderful God and we only have to be his to get joy out of our lives.
A continued portrayal of real people problems and the work of relationships with humble perseverance. The book is a gift of realism and believable characters.
Loved it! The whole series was amazing. Each woman was so special and unique. As women this is how it should be with strong bonds. I recommend the series.
Great read, great writing, very interesting characters! This book addressed so many issues/problems that women go through and such great happy endings for these problems!
