When a rebel Captain is rushed into the clinic for treatment, she learns that the necklace she inherited from her mother is far more than she bargained for.

Waking in an emergency room with a fatal wound, Captain Cole Hawkins has no option but to trust the doctor treating him, despite the secrets he can see that she's hiding.

Oran's mission was simple - trace a surge of magical power and find the source, but he soon discovers that things aren't as they seem and he starts to question the decisions of the ones who bind him.

2.5✨ rounded up for the original idea.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me a chance to review this book!

🩺 Urban fantasy
🩺 Healing magic, hybrids, elves
🩺 Found family

The idea for this book was really interesting. Eira is a secret hybrid healer and she’s working against a new dark virus that has emerged in the city.
While I was hooked on the first chapter - the endless descriptions soon hindered my reading experience.
I started to lose interest at the 30% mark. The characters were really likeable but there’s no character development and the relationships aren’t fluffed out. They’re instant friends - so there weren’t any relationship building.
The other thing I struggled with quite a lot was the fact that this needed more editing. There’s a few times that the characters needed to be caught up on something and instead of saying that everyone caught each other up or what not - they went into a few pages of explaining what we had already read. I think this book would’ve benefited being 100-150 pages shorter.

I need to take a break from fantasy

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Bloodstream of Moonlight is an epic adventure with mythical creatures in a world at war. The crossover between medical drama, fantasy and warfare is done fantastically. At the start it felt like an episode of Greys Anatomy but this soon changed. There is gore and blood, which was gritty and dark to read. This contrasts with one of the best found families I’ve read and lighthearted moments. The romance element felt a bit instant for me but the couple grew on me as time went on. The FMC is intelligent, caring and fair - at times she was maybe too perfect and understanding with everything she was going through. The pacing was generally good as there is plenty of action but I felt some parts could be edited down. Despite this and the books length it didn’t feel long as I was so invested in the plot. The urban setting was really well thought out and I enjoyed all the worldbuilding. Important themes around equality and free will are explored. Overall a good book with some great mythological characters and ancient magic. 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫Thank you to the NetGalley and Literally PR Ltd for an E-ARC. This is a voluntary review of my own thoughts.

Eira a half elf, half human is working as a doctor in London.
She is working hard to help sick people while trying to conceal the fact that she is using magic.
An interesting fantasy novel that I found slow to start but it had some likeable characters.

Wow what a book 😍 I absolutely devoured this story, it literally had everything I love - a strong female lead, cool mythical characters, an awesome storyline, romance and my personal favourite a found family trope to die for, honestly the way the author brings these characters together and the way they interact with each other was just *chefs kiss* 😍🤩
I’m super SUPER eager to find out what’s next especially after that ending, Roxan definitely knows how to end a book and leave us wanting more 🤩🤩
Highly recommend reading this ✨

I received a copy of this book in a Goodreads Giveaway and I love, love, LOVED it! Whew! Where to start?!

The book is set in London following a hybrid (1/2 Elf, 1/2 human) doctor who is battling a virus sweeping London and other large cities.

Pros:
-Eira (our FMC) is absolutely delightful. She is a badass, but sweet and cares about helping people and Myths. She is thoughtful but will stand her ground when others try to push her around.
-Cole (one of the MCMs) is just adorable. Like-I wish I had a Cole in my life. He seems like the hot, athletic boy-next-door, who also cares about fighting back and will.
-Oran (one of the other MCMs) ...well let's just say I want one of him in my life also. He's your friendly (as long as you are on his side and don't mess with his family) gargoyle who offers a lot of comedic relief and at the same time, brings his own story and character into the mix.
-As the story goes along, Eira slowly collects her rag-tag band of misfits and I'm so excited to see how this continues to develop and where we will go next!
-The world that Burley has created is refreshing in its' uniqueness and originality. I took longer to read this book because I was really enjoying savoring the development of the plot, characters and action.

Cons:
-Someone *REALLY* needs to go through and proofread the Kindle version of this book. I found SO many typos, grammatic errors and the overall formatting just got plain frustrating at times. You'd have a sentence just stop and turn the page to find it continuing--get with it editors! --you should really be surprised to still have jobs based on spoiling part of this journey by not attending to incredibly basic parts of your job! (As of 03.07.2023-It looks like the formatting piece has been addressed just as Burley said it would be! Kudos!!!!)
-The book was a *toouuuccchh* to slow for me in spots.
-The ending was both a little too tied up with a pretty bow AND left with a cliffhanger that I wasn't entirely sure how to feel about.

Overall-a solid 4 stars from me. I'm anxious for the next installment and hopefully will not have to way too soon for it!

Edit-to correct my own typos/grammar errors:-/

Wow, this book was absolutely incredible. It was such a great story and the ideas and themes were great! The dystopian setting was fantastic. The world building was exquisite.

The book was beautiful written and it flowed perfectly. The descriptions were amazing and they provided very effective visuals. There were no unanswered questions for me and encountered no plot holes.

The characters were wonderful. Eira was so smart and kind. I liked her a lot. I found Oran charming and unique. Cole was brave and bold. The three were a great team along with the rest of the cast.

The use of mythology and mythical creatures was excellent. I loved that gargoyles were used in this book. It's first book I've encountered. It was refreshing that something a little different was tried!

The book was written in third person from the POVs of Eira, Oran and Cole. This worked so well. We got to see the story along with them and it was excellent.

I really cannot recommend this enough to you all. It was a fantastic read and I couldn't put the book down!

What an exciting read this was! I loved Roxan's world building, even though set in London, UK, it felt miles away from real life. Eira, a doctor meets Cole Hawkins, a patient brought in near death, he's contracted the virus, a virus that turns skin and veins black, slowly taking over the body. Unbeknownst to some of her colleagues, Eira is what she calls a hybrid, a half human, half elf and she has magical powers. She saves Cole and their journey begins!

I love the gothic and magical aspect to this, gargoyles, magic, magical rings and pendants, telepathy. It has it all! I loved Oran, he's mysterious but also protective of those he cares about and it shines through.

I also love Elowen, Eira's friend. Nothing fazes her, when Oran shows his true self, she embraces it. I love the little team they create, the found family and the love and trust built.

A fab first book to a set and will grab book two shortly! With that ending, I need to know more!

Bloodstream of Moonlight is the first book in the Equal Rise Trilogy.

A good v evil urban fantasy with a really unique magic system and interesting premise.

Eira, a hybrid healer, is concealing her identity as a practising Doctor in London.  She keeps her identity hidden from the Dark, an organisation taking over London with a virus.

When a rebel Captain is admitted to the hospital with a fatal wound, their worlds collide and a dangerous adventure begins.

I enjoyed the idea of this fantasy, the world-building and storytelling, the want for hope and unity, however the characters lacked a little development throughout for me.  It had a cool sci-fi feel, some interesting mythical creatures and a little romance.

I would love to see how the story and characters develop in the next book.

The story is set in London and tell us a story of Eira, a half human and half elf doctor. As a virus is sweeping London and other cities, she must fight against the odds to survive. I love the whole idea of this book with its mix of creatures and race between good and evil. I thought the main characters were brilliant! Eira was a total kick ass female and an excellent leader for the group. Cole was the perfect love interest. All of Eira’s little band of friends were very likable. The story had lots of swift moving action and a great storyline. I’m so glad this is just the beginning of what is going to be a fantastic series.

I enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. It's a fantasy set in modern-day AND our universe - so rather unique for me.

There is no slow burn or world build - we are thrown straight in with our FMC working in a hospital one minute and then on the run the next making friends with a hybrid, very handsome gargoyle along the way - It becomes quite obvious early on there is more to their relationship, but only when we get to the end of the book do we get the detail - and then the book ends!

The book is action-packed, and a race between good and evil and a whole host of creatures and humans thrown in the mix.

The ending is intense and I'm rather pleased I have the second book in the series ready to go!
If you like fantasy, and dystopian books with bonding, friendship and romance this is the book for you - I apologize in advance if we get our hearts broken in book 2 - I'm not there yet....

Multiple POV - not a love triangle but a triangle of sorts.

A thrilling fantasy with interesting world building and characters. I really enjoyed the magic system and paranormal creatures such as elves, trolls and hybrids.

The main characters kept me entertained, the dynamic between Eira, Cole and Oran is interesting and I can't wait to see where the relationships develop.

The pacing was perfect to get to know the characters and develop the plot.

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley. This book grabbed me from page 1! I loved the magic systems and the London setting!

The characters were so relatable and memorable. The world building was done really well and felt very realistic. This felt like a really great start to a possibly amazing series.

I dropped a star because as much as I loved the dynamic between the main characters, I still felt like there was a slight disconnect somewhere — I can't quite put my finger on what it was exactly. These feelings may be resolved in the following books.

I really liked the book. I will be honest and say that I started the book downstairs I found it difficult to get into the book, but as soon as I started to read it in bed I flew through the book. I really do like a long book.
I liked the characters of Eira and Oran, but I can't stand Cole. I keep wishing Eria and Oran would get together.
I loved the plot of the story. It's something completely different.
Starting the second book tonight.

I read one chapter and immediately ordered the book. From the first chapter the reader is sucked into the world. This has some of the best writing and world building I’ve read all year. This is my first urban fantasy, and I must say, I am thrilled to continue the series. A must read for fantasy readers.

As with many fantasy series starts this book starts off slow. However the world building around this is done extremely well due to it been a slow start it took me a while to get into the story and start to form a connection to the characters.

Magic system well done and intriguing and i am looking forward to the next book in the series

Bloodstream of Moonlight is an urban fantasy set in a dystopian London where humans live alongside supernatural beings known as myths, who have to hide in plain sigh from an organisation known as The Dark. The Dark are controlling London with a mysterious virus that takes over the host and allows The Dark to control them. Our FMC Eira has healing magic and is working in a clinic when a rebel captain is brought in for treatment. It is here that Eira discovers that an heirloom necklace given to her by her mother is more than it seems, and along with the captain and a gargoyle named Oran, they set about trying to discover a cure for the virus.

The reader is immediately thrown into a rich, atmospheric plot with impressive worldbuilding full of intricate details that really bring the setting to life. The way the author describes this London really immerses you in the setting and her vivid descriptions allow you to fully picture what it looks like in comparison to the real London. Its not a particularly fast paced plot, but it does move on steadily so you’re never left feeling bored or disengaged from it. Saying this however, there are parts where the author seems to skip forward without any details, which can leave you a bit confused and having to flick back to find out if you’ve missed something.
The characters are all fairly likeable, however I do have a couple of little nitpicky issues with them. Eira is adamant that she wants all of the races of people to be united, but then contradicts herself when she is presented with a magical sword which will give her the opportunity to do exactly that. I also found her connection to Oran a little bit too instantaneous. I get that they have a magical bond between them, but I do feel like she maybe should have been a little bit more cautious with him to start with!
The plot is fairly heavy going and intense in places, which meant for me that it took me longer than usual to finish it, even though I was enjoying it. The characters deal with some fairly troubling issues which also contributed to it being quite a difficult read.
The romance between captain Cole and Eira feels somewhat forced and unnecessary. I felt like it didn’t really add that much plotwise and could have been left out without impacting the narrative too much. Despite this, it was a very enjoyable read with a lot of potential and was a fantastic start to the authors Equal Rise series. I’m really looking forward to seeing where this story goes and I rated it 3.5 stars.

To survive is to hide. Erica is practicing as a doctor in central London, keeping her true identity and the magic in her veins hidden from the Dark, an organisation taking over London with a virus which controls the host. When a rebel captain is rushed into the clinic for treatment, she learns that the necklace she inherited from her mother is far more than she bargained for.

Waking up in the emergency room with a fatal wound, Captain Cole Hawkins has no option but to trust the doctor treating him, despise the secrets he can see sh’e hiding. Oran’s mission was simple - trace a surge of magical power and find the source, but he soon discovers that things aren’t as they seem and he stars to question the decisions of the ones who bind him.

Together, they must use an ancient power to combat the years of segregation and animosity between humanity and the magical world.

The world buildup is very intriguing as it follows an alternative “London” with this dark, secretive society that wants to take over control and quite a complex magic system with immortal beings. There is found family, interracial romance, adventure, good versus bad, secrets and scheming.

This story is told in the third person, which in my opinion was a brilliant idea: the plot is so complex and ambitious that with any other type of telling would make us, as readers, feel like we are missing out! All relationships are well defined and constructed and the author really put effort into making them healthy and focused on communication.

I found it a bit hard to get into and it did take me a few days to finish the book, however, I it was an enjoyable read and overall it was a good debut!

In Bloodstream of Moonlight, we follow Eira, a half human, half elf Doctor, working in London and battling a virus sweeping London and other cities in this epic urban fantasy adventure filled with mythical creatures, magic and lashings of action set in an alternative Earth under attack by a "Dark" organisation. This read is a little different to your average fantasy though as here we have a mix of fantasy and a medical drama, with some romance thrown in, all set in a world at war.

Eira is a great, strong female lead character who is caring, and thoughtful. She's intelligent and funny but won't be pushed around and as the story progresses, she picks up an interesting, rag-tag band of misfits, all equally as likeable.

It's quite a dark, gritty read at times, with some blood and gore, and I must admit, I found the read a little slow to start, but don't let that put you off, as the pace soon picked up and maintained nicely.

It's a gripping read, it's compelling and the world building on offer here is well thought out and really is top notch. There's twists, there's turns and some important, modern themes are explored such as love, equality and diversity.

For me, Bloodstream of Moonlight was a refreshing, original read and quite unique. It's quite a hefty tome at 600 pages, but for me, it did not feel that long at all and I flew through this read in three sittings.

A big five stars from me.

Bloodstream of Moonlight by Roxan Burley may just be one of my new favourite fantasy reads! From the very first page, I was completely drawn in by the multi-layered urban, dystopian, fantasy blend – it struck the perfect balance between immersive world-building and a fast-paced, engaging narrative. The setting was truly imaginative, with the fantastical elements blending with a dystopian view of the world. The tension, magic and mystery integrated throughout kept me turning pages so much so that I completely lost track of time!

The characters, though, were the true heart of the story and were the highlight. Oran, Eira and Cole are exceptional characters, with vivid, complex and emotionally relevant characterisations that allowed them to bring something unique to the story. Their individual arcs throughout are created with such care, allowing you to feel completely invested in their struggles and connections, with the development so natural.

I was completely hooked from the beginning and struggled between being desperate to know what was going to happen, and not wanting it to end at all. I’m honestly desperate to start book two, as I need more of this world, these characters and a continuation of how everything was left off. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who loves strong, character-driven stories set in immersive, genre-blending worlds.

Eira is a doctor in central London. She hides her elfin identity and magic from the Dark, an organisation taking over London with a controlling virus. When Captain Cole Hawkins, a rebel, is brought to the clinic for treatment, Eira learns that her inherited necklace is more significant than she thought. Captain Cole must trust the doctor, despite her secrets. Eira, Captain Cole, and a host of other characters must use ancient power to fight the segregation and animosity between humans and the magical world and defeat the Dark.

I enjoyed the combination of urban and fantasy elements. The first chapter of this book is very gripping.

The following chapters focused more on setting the scene, with highly detailed characters. This book requires focused reading and is best enjoyed when you can spend long periods curled up by the fire.

The action scenes are engaging, well-written, and fast-paced. I particularly enjoyed Eira's meeting with Major Stone and the mission rollout in London.

The mysteries in the book build up and new ones emerge. Even halfway through, I had no idea where the story was headed. The ending was a sudden cliffhanger.

Thanks to Literally PR and Roxan Burley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Bloodstream of Moonlight by Roxan Burley

Genre; YA/Dystopian Fantasy/Romantasy
Rating:🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bloodstream of Moonlight is the start of a dystopian fantasy series set in an alternative London where humans live alongside supernatural beings known as myths. Myths have to hide in plain sight from an organisation known as The Dark, which is taking over London with a mysterious virus that controls the host.

When Captain Cole Hawkins wakes up in the hospital with a fatal wound he has no choice but to let Eira the doctor with hidden magical powers treat him, even though he knows the secret she is hiding.

This is when the adventure begins!!

I think this is the start of a very original and captivating fantasy series! The world building and storytelling which Roxan introduces is immensely fascinating and intriguing. The pacing was perfect, it gave you enough time to fully explore the characters, atmospheric plot and to picture what this alternative world could look like. The magically elements of this book are unique with its array of fascinating creatures will leave you wanting to read more!

Bond of Eternity is available to buy now and due to the cliff hanger at the end of this book I will be buying this very soon!

Bloodstream and Moonlight

Eira is a doctor hiding her magical abilities from London, the dark ones controlling a virus that takes over the host. Cole Hawkins is brought in to her clinic for emergency help, knowing he has to trust her regardless of the secrets she is hiding
Eira learns the necklace that her she inherited from her mother is more than what she bargained for. Together they must use an ancient power to combat the years of segregation and animosity between humanity and the magic world.
Oran- mission was to trace the surge and magical power and find the source. In which he learns not everything is as it seems.
I loved the action and the way the characters came together and were able to work through every situation as it came, They are well rounded characters. I’m a person that loved magical beings and humans interacting with each other. I can appreciate the detail of descriptions of the story as it unfolds, I can’t wait for more, I well keep an eye out for the next addition to the series. I believe this book is fun for young adults and adults alike.

I received an E-Arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley, the author and the publisher, for this opportunity.

I've decided to DNF this book at about 20%. There isn't anything overly negative about this book, but I found that the writing was flat, undescriptive and confusing; the characters were boring and flat, and the pacing felt off, moving too fast at certain points and too slow at others. I think that there are some interesting elements that the author was working with, such as the scientific exploration of magic and supernatural creatures, the urban setting, the plague/virus and the hidden society controlling society from beyond. However, given the length of this book and how much I had already read through it and the fact that I wasn't enjoying any aspect of the book, I didn't feel pushed to continue reading it. In particular, this book could have benefited from some additional editing specifically aimed at tightening up the writing, refined the plot and characters and overall cutting out the unnecessary bulk of this story as there are some interesting themes here that could have made for an interesting book.

fantasy books are a hit or miss for me as sometimes the whole world build get too detailed and boring for me and sometimes there's just too many characters involved and my wee pea brain can't keep up, but I'm happy to say this was a hittt 🙌🏻 with it being set in London was simple enough for me and even though there is quite a few different characters in this story - human, not human, half & half ect - it was easy to follow. It always explains who is who and what they are, and a little background on them too which really gets you to know them all. Our main character Eira is great, she is a strong, kick ass woman who I'm sure is destined for greater things! but I've got to admit I think Oran may be my favorite, there's just something about that moody gargoyle! 😈 I found the overall story with The Dark quite an interesting one but I also really enjoyed reading about Eira & Oran's abilities and how they're also learning along the way with each other 🌙 I know this is a series, so I was pretty sure we would end on a cliff hanger, but when it did I literally said "aw come onnn!" out loud to myself because I need to know what happens next!?

I was instantly drawn to this book when I spotted this gorgeous front cover.

It was my first read by this author, but I was so intrigued.

This book forms the start of the Equal Rise series and what a brilliant start to what will be an exciting new series.

You all know that I'm not the biggest fantasy reader - but every now and again, a series comes along that really grabs me and I fall in love with the characters and what they're fighting for.

I can't really describe what it is that I connect with, just that overall feeling of becoming totally immersed and invested in the whole book.

And this is definitely one of those times!

I loved the mix of the gothic, familiar yet totally altered setting here and thought that the world building was so well plotted that I didn't even realise it was happening.

This was woven so well into the overall storyline and everything flowed beautifully.

The Dark intrigued me and I was hooked from the start wondering how this would play out and how on earth they could be stopped.

As Eira's story unfolds, we start to see a way forward and it was great to learn about the magic system along with the characters as they come into their powers and meet other magical beings along the way.

The writing was wholly engaging and immersive and I can't believe that I got through a fantasy read so quickly!

This does end on a bit of a cliffhanger and I was already ready to keep reading, so I really hope that book 2 will not be too far away!?

Impatient much!? Yes!

This was a great read and moreso as it's actually also a debut novel!

I'm so excited to continue this series!

This dystopian fantasy had me hooked within the first few chapters - like, good luck prying this book out of my hands.
The characters, the plot, the entire world-building? Chef's 😙 🤌🏻. Roxan didn't just write a story, she built a whole universe I could see. The descriptions were so vivid I might as well have been living in dystopian London myself. Sure, the beginning was a tad slow while we were getting settled into the myths and lore, but honestly? I didn't care. It was written so beautifully I was more than happy to soak it all in.

The characters were unique, each with their own story and personality. From elves and gargoyles to trolls and ancient mythical beasts, this book literally serves up a full fantasy buffet. (Also... Oran. My favourite gargoyle 🤭. Like, you had me at 7 feet tall Anyone who doesn't love a tall guy? Go away).

And let's talk POVs - we get multiple perspectives, and I LIVE for that. It just adds that extra ✨sparkle✨ . But if l'm being real, it's mostly because I'm nosy and absolutely need to know what everyone is thinking at all times.

This was kindly gifted to me for an honest review.

Okay, but can we talk about how Bloodstream of Moonlight just grabbed me by the collar and said: “urban fantasy, but make it ✨British, magical, and slightly terrifying✨”?

Eira is basically living that double life drama!

Doctor by day, secretly magical by… well, always….and trying very hard not to get noticed by The Dark (yes, ominous name, yes, nightmare fuel).

Enter: one gravely wounded rebel captain who crashes into her ER (hi, Cole 👀) and suddenly her family heirloom necklace is not just jewellery, but plot central.

Also, shoutout to Oran, whose whole “I’m-just-here-on-a-mission-oh-no-what’s-happening” energy gave me LIFE.

This book is a mix of:

- urban fantasy with serious stakes
- doctor FMC trying to keep it together
- secret magic + dangerous artifacts
- rebellion, conspiracies, and enemies who make you second guess everything

The pacing is a little chaotic at times, but honestly? I was here for it.

Give me the chaos, the magic politics, the hidden legacies, and the enemies to allies to lovers tension.

Basically, if you want a story that feels like Shadowhunters grew up, moved to London, and got a medical degree then this one’s for you.

Eira has been hiding her identity and powers while living amongst humans, using her gifts to help heal at the clinic. When Captain Cole is brought in injured after a mission, Eira secretly helps him heal and escape from agents, and sets off a chain reaction for them all.
In this Dystopian England, there are hidden magical creatures, a rebellion against the dark, and a parasitic virus that puts you under their control.
The rebel force the League continues to fight against the Dark, and to uncover their plans and new weapons.
Now a group of misfits have banded together featuring Eira a hybrid elf, Orun a hybrid Gargoyle, and Cole a human soldier, and together hope to save what's left of the world.
I liked the use of healing magic, Glamours, and the controlling virus.
It's a great blend of urban fantasy, magic and sci-fi, and has an entertaining range of characters.
Definitely intrigued to know what happens in the next book.

✨ "I'm fed up with them dictating and controlling our lives. The divide between us need to stop"
✨ "I help those who have no voice"

Bloodstream of Moonlight features a unique blend of alternate world future and folk lore. Magical beings live among regular people but must conceal their true nature from those in charge, with the main character using her power to heal covertly as a doctor before being swept up in fight for the future of the country.

If you are a fantasy fan then you will be fascinated by this new take on the genre, as familiar creatures and legends are reinterpreted in a fresh new way. If you are unsure of fantasy books or usually give them a miss altogether, then this may well be the book to turn you around. The author has crafted a believable, realistic world and the story will sweep you along too quickly for you to worry about the genre elements. There are plenty of shades of our world woven into proceedings as well, with a society decimating virus on the loose.

With sympathetic characters, a well realised world and sweeping story this is a fantastic first entry in what promises to be an epic saga.

A superb modern urban fantasy read with amazing concepts set in an eerie dystopian future. It takes us on an enthralling journey with unforgettable characters for a story filled with secrets, action, danger and intrigue. I was hooked from the first page!

The descriptive prose completely absorbs us in the spectacular world crafted. Burley skilfully twines the real world with the fantastical elements as the two come together and clash. The unique magic system was so well brought to life and we find ourselves seeking answers right alongside the main characters.

I really enjoyed the multiple points of views – Burley has drawn such believable and relateable characters who tug on our emotions. The great character development gives us glimpses of their backgrounds and struggles, it feels as though we know them on a personal level. Each character has unique gifts and we realise their true capabilities are unknown.

Eira, Cole, and Oran all have their own battles and I loved how their goals aligned in the fight for a better future. Their connections were beautiful to see as they come together for the greater good against external forces trying to drive them apart.

Bloodstream of Moonlight is a brilliantly plotted tale of unity, acceptance, understanding, and belonging. It’s a compelling read full of meaning with twists and power plays in the mix as survival and justice hang in the balance!

I can’t wait to see what’s next for these characters in the continuation of the Equal Rise series.

With thanks to @literallypr for my copy and place on the Tour.
