It was informative and quite detailed, and once I'm actually setting up a grass-fed beef program, it will be invaluable. Not much I can apply now, as I am still in suburbia.
Another bible - invaluable. Excellent for pasture and grazing management. Especially the field managment. Ruechel's description of managing your relationship with the cows and how to move them with minimal stress underpinned the behaviour we had witnessed amongst alot of Cornish South Devon farmers. As a result we have calm, happy cows that accept us working with them, and trust us.
So much good information in this book. I made sure to always have a highlighter in hand when reading. I loved it and will be returning to it again if ever the need arises.
