Business the Jack Welch way by Stuart Crainer is a short coalesce of incidents and strategies implemented by Jack Welch and what made him the greatest CEO of America.Instance of Mr Welch joining as a normal employee to his journey to the CEO of the General Electronics are described briefly in this book.

What does he most value? How does he compare running gigantic GE to operating a corner grocery store? How did he transform a stagnant company into an exciting and dynamic one? And why is he lauded as a Renaissance man and yet nicknamed, "neutron Jack"?What turned GE from a manufacturing company to a manufacturing, service providing, financial company having a profit of around $20 billion?? One gets to know the answers of all the above questions after reading this book.

Jack Welch's journey from one of the most criticized CEO to most acclaimed CEO is depicted in this book.Though this book lays stress on some of the topic such as curbing bureaucracy, transformations made by Mr Welch etc very often this book is one time read for a reader who loves either entrepreneurship or success stories books. This work would have been much better if reasonable amount of importance to statistics and life instances of Jack Welch was included.
