This book tells you how to develop your aura into a powerful shield, and presents simple, step-by-step techniques to:
* strengthen your immune system * protect against accidents and physical aggression * revitalize your psyche and wipe out stress * defend yourself, your children, your home, and your pets from physical danger and psychic drain
This book is a toss up for me. Yes there's some good information in it for psychic protection....but come on, "Solitary people who masturbate frequently with accompanying morbid, violent or degrading fantasies..." and goes on to explain how they may become targets for dark entities....and then goes on to say "Enjoy your fantasies, but keep them wholesome and in accord with enlightened human values." And if you are too horny and have no partner, drink carrot juice for the next three weeks. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? The Puritan ideologies of sex being possible evil, particularly if you are alone and masturbate....and if you are wanting to curb your sex drive, drive a wineglass of carrot juice every morning for the next 3 weeks...Perhaps I am too open about my sexuality, I see no harm in sex, whether you are masturbating or with a partner. Anyone versed in paganism and magick, particularly sex magick will tell you that you can generate energy (duh!) and can direct that direct towards whatever goal you want accomplished. As for preaching about what sort of fantasies are ok, well piss off. Is spanking ok? Oh maybe not, perhaps it's too unenlightened? What about pulling my hair? Downright savagery I suppose. So yes, on one hand, I don't mind SOME of the protective techniques in this book but the tone is so damn outdated. Reminded me of sitting in some church being preached at about hell and how impure thoughts will send you there blah blah blah. Take what you can from this book but if you have a healthy sex life, alone or with a partner(s) don't let this book get you down...sounds like the author needs lighten the hell up or perhaps they missed out on the sexual revolution that took place 50 years ago....

Useful pointers and tips. Personally I didn't find it as much about psychic skills or defense as it is about human relationships and using common sense. It does discuss the occult, misconceptions people have and provides some clear definitions and things to keep in mind.
Great reference and of benefit to those who are looking to improve themselves and their relationships with others.
I picked up this book expecting a lot of nonsense, but was pleasantly surprised! The author goes into detail about different aspects of ourselves and our lives that could use improvement through creating a stronger sense of self and being true to our needs. Unexpectedly interesting and relatable!
Interesting book with some good examples of the ways in which people need to protect themselves psychically. Unfortunately I found that it dragged on a bit and really only had one exercise of value with a few variations for different circumstances. All in all, I think it could have said all it needed to say in half the length or less.
To be honest, I was expecting a completely different focus in the book. I felt that the authors repeated themselves quite a bit and I found quite a few suggestions not to my liking. Though it didn't hurt to read it :)
