This book was very comprehensive with lots of quotes from POW's including from Dr Kevin Fagan who was on the same "H Force" as my father on the Thai-Burma railway.

A real eye opener when I read it back in 1992. The section covering Sandakan and the march the Australian PoW's were sent on was shocking. I remember comparing these stories with those told to me by my Father-in-law who was living in Kuching at the time. Brought it all closer to home. What brave men under such dire circumstances.
