Cultural Geography 9 (3rd ed.) provides a survey of both geographic principles and every country of the world through a regional approach. Following the theme of a Grand Tour, students "travel" from continent to continent around the world studying the cultures, land forms, climates, resources, economy, religions, and government of each country. This new edition is filled with photographs, charts, maps, and first-person accounts that make this "virtual world tour" an exciting and stimulating experience.
Extremely badly written. Full of grammar mistakes, clumsy and confusing sentences, and unnecessary repetition that made it dry and painful to read. It could have been very nice, and the facts were mostly good (not even all, some were just slightly inaccurate or gave the wrong impression). But poorly presented. Beautifully put together with pictures and interesting facts, but could have been written much better in so many ways. Also definitely geared for American students with endless comparisons that often weren't even logical. A good book for geography as it covers every country, often in some depth, but still one of the worst written schoolbooks I have ever come across.
The cultural Geography is a very interesting book to read the details as a mom of a homeschooler, I must say that it contains information about the history of different nations
