Do you want to distinguish yourself personally and professionally but are unsure how to go about making it happen? Let Mike Williams show you how to use the powerful techniques he has developed during a remarkable marketing and management consulting career spanning over 25 years. Discover how many of the same principles that work for renowned athletes, actors, musicians, fashion designers and celebrity chefs can make a difference for others pursuing those careers, as well as budding carpenters, truck drivers, photographers, cosmetologists, and virtually any other professional. Mike's process takes you through personal and professional preparation, and into a process of moving forward that includes organizational and promotional techniques. To assist you as you map out the route that suits you best, he provides strategically placed Answers and Actions Needed sections. He also clues you into dozens of great resources--books, magazines and Web sites--to keep you headed in the right direction for years to come.
Actually I expected too much from this book because Les Brown recommended ("Man's Search for Meaning by Victor) which is one of the top of the books that I have read so far...and later on one day I was listening to one of his speeches: ("shoot for the moon because even if you miss, you will land among the stars") he highly recommended ("The Road to Your Best Stuff by Mike) and insisted that this book acts as a catalyst for life changing...so, I ordered and waited for the delivery for one month and read it deliberately, but oh gash...the content was just something cliché and common sense like: first you have to know yourself and acknowledge your shortcomings and starting from "inside-out" and then "outside-in" etc... might be because "to each his own"...it is recommended not to be read...
Add this to your Library and read it a few times a year !
I Love the format of this book. i.e. the various dimensions to a successful career path are instructive and easy to follow . I bought the after from a recommendation from Les Brown on Impact Theory
