DNF
Too unbelievable to even suspend reality for an afternoon….

I just could not get into this. Everything every character said or did in this book was just too unbelievable to get into it. Real people don’t act this way. A “billionaire” doesn’t just give a house key to a random off the street. Friends don’t even talk to each other the way Zoe and Jay do. It was like it was written by a kid who imagines this is what adulthood is like. I feel like lying to your desperate for grandkids -not to mention grieving- mother is just so mean, I just could not get on board with anything about it. Every joke completely fell flat for me. The attraction seems to come out of nowhere with no buildup.
Unfortunately it was a DNF for me.

I rated it so high because I didn’t find any typos and I do believe that it would be a light enjoyable read for a lot of others. It just really didn’t do anything for me.

it’s all good

The beginning of ONE BOSSY DATE was fitting. Anders ducks into Zoe’s boutique to get out of the torrential rain. Anders is often the dark cloud in this story, and Zoe the sunshine.

I like everything about this story. The tropes were great: age-gap, fake relationship, fake baby (!), billionaire boss, grumpy sunshine, and the meddling family. But the romance was special because Zoe was a person that worked hard for her dream, but didn’t try to be something she wasn’t. As great a guy as Anders was in business and life advice, he was to blame for most of the relationship miscues.

I would read a book about Anders’ brother Dax!

3.75🌟

giggling greening laughing wheezing throwing up

This book was an absolute delight—quick, playful, and packed with laughs, plus just the right hint of steam to keep things interesting. I flew through the pages, fully entertained the entire time, and the audio narration added a whole extra layer of charm. It had that ideal mix of humor, spice, and rom-com chaos that made it the perfect feel-good escape. Predictable? Sure—but in that warm, comforting way that hits exactly when you need it. Major credit to the narrators for making it even more fun to experience.

The plot and story were unhinged in the best way. Zoe is a literal ray of yellow-drenched sunshine, fiercely independent and full of heart, while Anders is the stubborn, buttoned-up workaholic who desperately needed a little mess. Zoe and Anders delivered pure chaotic magic—with sunshine-meets-grump energy, sizzling chemistry, and a fake dating spiral that got completely out of hand. Fake Engagement? Pregnancy rumors? Oh yes! Their slow-burn transition from awkward meet-cute to full-on obsession had me greening laughing giggling laughing kicking my feet. I loved how Anders gently helped her overcome her fear of dogs—since she is a total cat person energy at first, I also adore the way she brought color and chaos into his beige little life—I ate up every minute of it. Their growth felt so tender and personal, and that final love confession?? I may never recover. This book brings everything to the table—an irresistible mix of sass, lovable animals, nosy family antics, and emotionally charged moments, all topped off with a perfectly spicy kick. It’s that whirlwind rom-com fix that delivers laughs, swoons, and all the warm fuzzies you didn’t know you were craving. 💋

Lee Samuels and Savannah Peachwood understood the assignment. Their voices blended seamlessly, capturing every bit of emotion, sass, and character nuance with ease. Even without duet-style narration, they brought so much heart and life into the story—it felt less like listening and more like living it. A dynamic duo that made the entire audiobook experience hit deeper❤️‍🔥

On to the next book here I go. I will read Real Fake Husband right away after this! 💥🏃🏻‍♀️

Anders has been overseas in Chile handling a passion project involving environmentally conscious construction. He returns home to the states to help run his family’s construction business soon after the death of his father.

One rainy day he stops into what he thought was his favorite coffee place, which is now a cat boutique run by Zoe.

Not wanting the rude man to leave unsatisfied, even if he isn’t a customer, Zoe gives Anders a cup of her special organic blend at which he promptly turns up his nose after just one sip.

Anders runs into some trouble when he loses the services of his dog-walker and has to find another. His assistant exhausts all avenues except one and may have fudged the facts a little when she contacts Zoe and lets her assume the “rascals” in question are cats.
Of course, Zoe is terrified of dogs, which is why her boutique caters solely to cats when if she catered to both animals, she would make more money.

After the mix-up is cleared up and Zoe gets dry from being pushed in the jacuzzi by Anders’s two big Rottweilers, Anders and Zoe make a deal. She will be his dog nanny after he teaches her how to handle his pups and he will be her date to her grandmother’s seventy-seventh birthday party, saving Zoe from being the subject of gossip and being fixed up with her grandmother’s favorite choice.

Before the big night is over, Anders and Zoe are not only fake dating, but fake engaged and fake pregnant.

This was a fast-paced, cute and funny rom-com with lots of banter and spice. I loved Anders and Zoe as a pair and several other side characters, but especially Zoe’s friend Jim who is hysterical.

If you’re in the mood for a CEO Billionaire, grumpy-sunshine, age-gap, fake-dating romance, this
book is for you.

That was so much fun! Lots of snarky, irreverent humor. Plenty of cute pets. Quirky, busybody friends and relatives. Then to top it off, scorching enemies-to-lovers chemistry between our leading couple. I loved watching how both Anders and Zoe grow, teaching skills to each other to be their best selves. There’s a lot of ‘opposites attract’ energy around them and it was kind of sweet the way Zoe picks up ways to de-stress her anxiety, and Anders learns that color and chaos aren’t bad things to have in a life. And speaking of those quirky, busybody friends and relatives… I’m personally hoping that one or two of them will get books of their own in the future.

Fake City to go along with Fake date

Why do authors write so unrealistic backgrounds. Characters travel around the city faster than humanly possible. Central Park is not 5 minutes from downtown. How are people in a hot tub on a penthouse in November. Where are their bathtubs and showers in stores. The rent in nyc are crazy but renters contact the landlords for issues. Billionaires have maids and housekeepers. How do they always find parking and where are they doing all these outdoor activities in a city fill of concrete.

I love this book so much you don’t even understand like the chemistry between Zoe and Anders was just amazing. I love the family dynamic had the best friendships loved Jim so freaking much. He was hilarious.

Anders, he is sweet but he was really devoted into his work. Wow his brother Dax was more out there in the world discovering life and Anders was just like always in the office but when he met Zoe, it was like a meet cute because he thought that her cat boutique was a coffee shop. He went to, but that coffee shop shut down and he met her. It wasn’t like a good meet cute because he can insulted the coffee that she made him. Development from Anders was so good after she moved into his house. It was just really good. They spent a lot of time together. he taught her how to handle the dogs cause she had the fear and slowly seen the chemistry coming together.🥹♥️♥️. But Anders is a really stubborn guy. He didn’t want to see that he was happy in New York and he like fled to chili but he didn’t end up in chili. He told the captains turned around and confessed his love to Zoe, and it was so beautiful because everything he did confessing his love is what his whole family thought because they also had like this fake thing throughout the book while everyone thought they were engaged and pregnant but they weren’t. That’s the whole reason why Zoe even moved in. I love them so so much though I’m so happy that Anders finally got his happily ever after because I knew it was hard for him because he never really gave himself the opportunity to be really happy and I’m happy he finally let that in and figure out that he was holding himself back.♥️♥️♥️♥️💋

Zoe is so cute like she is such a sweetheart ♥️♥️and so hyper with her bright colors. Her favorite color is yellow and that is displayed throughout the whole book account. That’s her favorite color and I love how she is an independent woman trying to make the business come from off the ground and was succeeding throughout the book. She did have her rough patches when it was like not good like when she was sleeping in the back room it wasn’t like really bad debt , and then she met for pet sitting his dogs, even though she was scared of dogs, and when they seen each other again, he offered to teach her how to control the dogs Because he didn’t have enough time to find another pet sitter, so he also offered his assistance with being her date to her grandmothers birthday party, and from that birthday party so many lies are spread like that they were getting married ,she was pregnant 😬😬😬😬and that they were living together, so she moved in with him and that’s when they’re chemistry started because they hang out a lot more together and then they start doing spicy things just to indulge and it was perfect and I love how they grew and develops slowly, and found love with each other and I loved the end of the book openly told him about all her troubles of being in that and how she was sleeping in the back room of her office and how she didn’t have enough money to afford a apartment and then he was sad asking like where are you now like where are you living and she’s sleeping on Jim’s couch i’m so happy by the end of the book because she ended up getting exactly what she deserved a happily ever after the man she loved, ♥️♥️♥️♥️💋opened another store and is in the process of looking for a third after she expanded the boutique for dogs to not just cats and I’m just happy that she’s living her life and it’s like really good and she’s in a good place and she’s not struggling and I’m just happy for her.

This book was so spicy. It was so good like this whole book. They’re probably had sex like three times but they fooled around a couple of times😝🍒🌶️🌶️🌶️. It was really good like this book was good. I definitely recommend it.

Zoe own a store that does cat grooming. Shes not a fan of dogs so only does cats. Her store used to be a coffee shop and Anders walks in from a rain storm and before he turns around he demands coffee. Zoe makes him a coffee anyway which i thought was strange. Then he leaves. That the first chapter. Its ages till they are together again.

Zoe needs a date for her grandmas birthday party so her grandma cant set her up with a guy she doesn't actually like. But he likes her. Anders assistant calls her shop to look after his two dogs but doesn't say they are dogs so Zoe assumes they are cats. When she lets herself into his apartment later the dogs run at her, she tries to get away and ends up in his hot-tub fully clothed. Anders comes out to see whats going on, he sees how scared she is but he really needs her help. After some negotiating she says she will help if he goes to her family party as her boyfriend. He says yes. It all seemed to happen very fast.

They party gets out of control fast as the guy thinking he had a date with Zoe causes a scene and they are basically fake engaged and fake preggers by the end of the night. His mum (who turned up at the party) was so happy Anders suggested Zoe move in with him to keep up the ruse a little longer. But he tells her he is leaving the country right after new year.

They have some nice getting to know you moments. There conversation in the hot-tub especially. I liked they didn't jump straight into bed

So after a few weeks he asks her to leave with him. She says that she cant because she has a business and family and he says if she loved him she would leave with him. When she says if you loved me you'd stay he doesn't like that. It pissed me off he said 'brushing cats wasn't important'

He comes to his senses and they live HEA. The ending felt really rushed!

There were some mistakes. She said he had a leather jacket on the first time she saw him then later she said she had never seen him in leather. I don't like when men demand women get on their knees if its not a book about a dominant.

Overall it was OK. Anders was a bit of a dick until the end and Zoe was just a bit boring. Her co-worker was so crude! It was funny at first but then annoying!

This is a really great read. Funny, laugh out loud moments, hot romance and a great storyline. Zoe is struggling to build her business, grooming and looking after cats whilst living in the storeroom of the shop. She first meets Anders when he comes into her shop soaking wet from the heavy rain, thinking it was still the coffee shop. She gives him a coffee as a courtesy and he grudgingly takes it. Unimpressed by his grumpiness she puts it behind her. When she gets a call from some big businessman's PA to look after his pets she assumes it's cats and agrees. She turns up at his penthouse to find out his cats are 2 Rottweilers, (she is terrified of dogs), and the owner is Mr Arrogance from the other night. and she is terrified of dogs. He gives her an offer she can't refuse and she offers a proposal of her own, that he plays her fake boyfriend at her Granny's birthday. But all does not go to plan and they embark on a hilarious journey of lies and more lies. Digging a deeper hole with their families. She is also falling for him but with him leaving for South America again there's no point. He too is falling for her and expects her to go with him when he leaves. But will she? The other players are also well written characters adding to the enjoyment of the story. I loved this book. A must for your library.

Talk about opposites attract. Their not so meet-cute was the start of something. Anders Windham was the CEO of Windham Construction and was a grumpy man. Zoe Jones was the owner of a cat boutique with a perky personality. Opposites right? The beginning was a little slow for me, Anders was kind of a jerk in the beginning until you got to know him. Zoe was a cute cat lady who is deathly afraid of dogs, hence the cat boutique.

Zoe was tricked into taking Anders pets as clients not realizing they were dogs. Something about Zoe stands out and Anders is willing to help her get over her fears of his dogs since he needed a sitter and she needed a date for her sister's engagement party. Of course, Murphy's Law, their date snow balls out of control and their fake relationship turns into an fake engagement and a fake pregnancy! So they continue their deception and move in together. Every road to hell is paved with good intention should be their motto.

They get to know each other and one thing led to another and they started a no strings fling. Their romance is sweet and not so angsty if don't count the fake engagement and pregnancy elephant in the room. Loved the story, it was funny and sweet.

Ms. Jolie has hit it out of the park with this romcom.

Jolie you did it again!

Absolutely loved Anders and Zoe's story!! The characters just flow together and loved that it is also an age gap romance. A chance meeting on a New York Stormy day didn't go so well for Anders and Zoe and it was with Have a Nice Life!!! Anders assistant needed to find a sitter for his 2 rascals but no one wanted the job. One phone call to Zoe's boutique and vague wording had Zoe showing up for the job but she was ready to run due to her fear of dogs. Zoe grandmother trying to set her up once again with a family friend had Zoe looking for a fake date to her birthday party and a deal was struck. Neither Anders and Zoe thought things would get so put of hand so quickly things were said in the heat of the moment and got misunderstood by the wrong people and escalated from there. Anders is only in New York for a short time as he came to take over his family company after his father's passing but he is not staying and will be leaving before the New year if all goes to plan. Can Anders and Zoe have a happily ever after with both of them knowing that he doesn't plan to stay or with it be stripped from them at the last second? Thank you Jolie for another great read! I always get into your characters as you make them captivating and thier stories always flow so flawlessly. Happy reading!

I really loved this book. Another winner from Jolie Day,her books and writing always makes me smile, and Anders and Zoe's Fake Relationship romance did just that.It made me Laugh, and swoon with emotion. It is such a fun, enjoyable sexy read. Anders and Zoe are opposites,he is a Billionaire who comes across as moody, demanding and arrogant. But behind all that bravado is a kind hearted man,he has many layers. Zoe is a strong, beautiful woman and needs a date to her Granny's Birthday dinner and she has Anders in her sights. Surprisingly he agrees, but everything gets out of hand and the plot thickens, because the fake relationship escalates into a fake pregnancy and Zoe moving in with Mr Grumpy pants. The chemistry sizzles between them and soon they are sharing a few kisses and more. These two are explosive together and I loved their sexual tension. This book is a real hoot full of Shenanigans and steam as things between them become real. I loved reading One Bossy Date,Jolie Day always writes such great quirky fun yet deep characters. Her words are always page turners and I Love the way she writes, especially the friendships. A Fabulous story that I highly recommend to all who doesn't want too much angst but a funny romantic story. Brilliant 5 Stars.

One Bossy Date by Jolie Day was a hilarious and swoon-worthy age-gap romantic comedy that warmed my heart from start to finish. I can always count on Jolie to bring the fun, the charm, and the heat with memorable characters who find themselves in awkward, humorous meet-cutes that later turn into forever. Anders and Zoe’s journey from fake to forever was full of entertaining twists and spicy turns that I didn’t want to end. I loved that Zoe was determined to start her own cat grooming boutique in the city, but at the same time keep her Granny happy. Anders is a bit of a grumpy sunshine and a workaholic. However, when he and Zoe make a deal to benefit each other, they realize their relationship is anything but fake and find themselves in quite a predicament!

Overall, I loved this book. If you are a fan of boss-employee romance with a hot hunky billionaire, a sassy yellow-wearing pet groomer, two playful rottweilers, New York City, a meddling mom, an adorable granny, a fake date, a fake pregnancy, volunteered proximity, jacuzzi mishaps, super hot steamy times, Humphries updates, business deals, and a HEA that proves home is where your heart is, then you will love Anders and Zoe’s story. I always look forward to more from Jolie Day!

This is an one absolutely hilarious love story with an older wealthy sexy man, Anders and a younger woman, Zoe with her own cat boutique. These two meet at Zoe’s store and Anders comes off grumpy and bossy and Zoe is in yellow with a carefree way. One day Anders secretary hires Zoe to take care of his dogs never being told they are dogs, Zoe has a fear of dogs. They find themselves in one crazy situation after another as they get to know one another. Anders shows Zoe how to care for dogs without fear and handle unexpected situations and Zoe shows Anders how to live a little and there’s more to life than work. After they agree on a deal - Zoe a dog walker and Anders being her fake date for her grans birthday party they find themselves fake engaged, living together and pregnant! They don’t acknowledge they are falling in love with one another and when Anders finally gets his family business set up he’s ready to leave for South America and get back to his own business. Zoe is heartbroken with how Anders leaves and tries to move forward with her bestie and expanding business. This is a beautiful ending that shows you home is where your hearts is! This is my voluntary review.

Anders and Zoe have already met, although it was a horrible first encounter. Anders thought her cat boutique was still the coffee shop and automatically went in and ordered a coffee without paying attention as to what was around him. Although, he still got served coffee just wasn't what he wanted.

Zoe is hired to pet sit for what she thought was cats. It turned out to be two well loved, huge rottweilers. Anders works with her to get over her fear of dogs and they end up growing closer. He ends up giving Zoe an offer she can't refuse, and she offers a counter-proposal where he plays her boyfriend/fiance/baby daddy. What can we say it got out of hand at her Granny's birthday. She is falling for him knowing he is about to leave after a deal goes through. He is falling for her and expects her to drop her dreams and business and go with him. Will she leave everything and everyone she loves behind?

This is a cute story full of comedic relief and well written characters. One Bossy Date is definitely worth the read.

ADORABLE MIX OF SWEET AND STEAMY!
I absolutely love Jolie Day’s books and this one is no exception. It has everything I enjoy in a book! It’s romantic, funny, and heartwarmingly emotional. Her writing style flows easily and is well edited.
Anders and Zoe are an endearingly adorable couple. Anders comes across as arrogant, dominant, and demanding, but has a big, kind heart. Zoe is exactly what he wants in a woman: intelligent, challenging, strong-willed, and beautiful inside and out. Her relationship with her coworker/friend is humorous and endearing. Add to this: a sweet and meddling granny, a caring mother, a younger carefree brother, and two rambunctious dogs, and you have quite an interesting read!
It is a melting pot of tropes:
~Fake Date
~Fake Engagement
~Fake Pregnancy
~Age Gap Romance
~Billionaire & Feisty Woman
~Opposites Attract
It was a definite page-turner and entertaining. Let’s face it. Isn’t the reason we read novels is for enjoyment? Well, I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Another fun read from Jolie Day. This is an enemies-to-partners-to-friends-to-lovers story and comes will all the twists and turns you'd expect with that type of description. It's the story of Zoe and Anders - Zoe is a bit down-on-her-luck small business owner and Anders is the typical , grumpy, alpha male billionaire who makes a terrible first impression during their first unexpected meeting.
And then through no fault of their own, they are brought together again and she ends up agreeing to help care for his beloved dogs and he agrees to be her "fake date" to her gramma's birthday party to basically get her family off her back because she's still single.
One thing leads to another and what starts as a simple fake date end (though the sparks are flying) ends with these two agreeing to start living together (so they can appear to be a couple) and both their families thinking she is pregnant.
As they get closer and more attracted to each other will they both realize they are meant to be and finally find their HEA?

Zoe & Anders🌚🌝

THIS BOOK WAS SO SO CUTE!!!!
I LOVED IT SMMMM
it had me engaged the whole time omds

zoe owns her own car grooming shop and anders who is rich, hot & girthy (as jimmy would say)
he goes into her shop on a stormy evening and orders a coffee bc the old shop that used to be there was a coffee shop. he doesn’t realise that it’s a cat groomers. zoe makes him a coffee in a funny mug with whiskers.
anyway after their encounter, he needs a sitter to look after his dogs hades and ares. so his assistant caroline calls zoe and asks but she doesn’t specify that they’re dogs (zoe is terrified of dogs)
she takes the job unknowing that they’re dogs :)

ANYWAY IT WAS SO SO GOOD
I LOVE JIMMY AND ZOE AND ANDERS
ZOE AND ANDERS FAMILY MEMBERS WERE SO CUTE THO OMDS AND I LOVE ANDER’S MOTHER.

I did not realize how much I would LOVE this book!

One Bossy Date has it all. A nanny for dogs, fake dating, fun best friend, and a man who will lose his heart without realizing it. Zoe is independent but struggling. I love how she is determined to make it on her own, even if it means lots of sacrificing. Then her knight in shining armor walks into her shop until he insults her. These two are a very unlikely couple. He is gray and broody; she is bright and full of sunshine.

There is so much about this story that I loved. The boys, Ares, and Hades. Jim, Zoe’s best friend. We all need a Jim in our lives. Anders’s mom is welcoming and instantly loveable. Zoe’s Gran, Anders’s brother, and especially Zoe and Anders. There is even a jerk in the story that made me mad. But the hope and fun these two shares are worth the time to read. Grab this story now and enjoy an escape worth relaxing to.

One Bossy Date is one great read! Anders and Zoe are grumpy billionaire in need of a pet sitter meets sunshine, sweetness and lover of all things cats. A chance meeting when a rainstorm leads Anders into a store that once was a coffee shop. Zoe is just trying to make her everything cat store take off, but when an arrogant jerk walks in she gives in complimentary coffee and writes him off. A bit of a mix up leads Zoe to Anders home to care for his cats but they are huge overzealous dogs and things just went from bad to worse for the gal with a fear of pups!
This now little mix up leads to a deal, a fake relationship and these two opposites are about to find out just how different they really are, but we soon see that the attraction is oh so undeniable! Anders and Zoe are funny, sweet, have great chemistry, are filled with witty sexually charged banter and are surrounded by meddling relatives and friends! What a wonderful story!

2⭐ 3🌶️

This wasn't great. The overall story was okay, but there were so many things I disliked.

1. If you're that close with your granny, you should be able to tell her that the man she's trying to set you up with is basically sexually harassing you. It's okay to say no to women too. Also, isn't it a little outdated for grannies to be harassing their grandkids in finding "a man". Can we move on from this? or is that just me? 🙈 2. A bit too horny for my taste. The way the characters talked about sex was just too much.
3. How they started the fake, well, everything, was extremely weak.
4. The smut was okay, but too cringy at times. He spanked her and called her a bad kitten. yeah no. 😬
5. The conflict actually made sense this time. Two people with two different dreams. But I hated the MMC for saying, thinking and doing what I did.

One thing I did like, was how Anders was there to get Zoe to overcome her fears. But that was so short, and not really a part of the plot unfortunately.

Another great read from Jolie Day. There is something about the way she writes which makes her books extremely easy to read and enjoyable. I can't put her books down and I read this one in a couple of hours.

It had romance and was quite funny at times and the characters Anders and Zoe are a really cute couple.

Anders is outwardly arrogant and the typical billionaire alpha male, but in actual fact he is really warm and sweet and Zoe comes across as the dipsy cat lady at first, when in actual fact she is super intelligent, beautiful and extremely strong-willed.

What starts out as a fake date to keep her meddling grandmother off her back, quickly escalates into a fake engagement and fake pregnancy.

Of course there is a HEA.

I received this book as an ARC review and have given my true and honest opinion.

Take a billionaire who is the opposite of the girl he meets when he goes to get coffee. The place is now a cat grooming store. He can’t believe she has so much yellow on. Him bring mister proper. But fate brings them back together when he needs a dog sitter and she needs a date to her grand birthday party. Jolie Day has written another fun, steamy read. This is an opposites attract romance that will have you rooting for Anders and Zoe to get their happily ever after. They first meet when he enters her cat boutique, thinking it’s still a coffee shop. She offers him a cup of her organic coffee, but not as good as previous coffee shop’s coffee he tells her, lol. They next meet when she arrives at his home to take care of Hades and Ares, his two Rottweilers. Boy, is she in for a surprise, since she was expecting two cats. Zoe agrees to watch his dogs and in return, Anders will be her fake date at her Gran’s seventy-seventh birthday party. No spoilers so grab your copy and see what happens. I really enjoyed this book and even though I received an advanced reader copy, I still had this book preordered and this is my voluntary and honest review.

What a glorious love story. Butterflies and tingles all the way. Absolutely fantastic. Going into what he thought was a coffee shop and is now a cat boutique, Anders meets Zoe. She can just tell he is controlling, demanding, obstinate, stubborn and thinks he is a jerk. Not to worry, she will probably never see him again. But fate has something else in mind. Little does she know her life is about to change in a magnificent way. I love the way Anders realizes his home in South America is not really his home after all. His new home is with Zoe, the woman he loves. A lot of obstacles and people presuming facts that are just not true, but they are unable to settle the lies for months. Is it fake? Is it Love? Is it real? Wonderful, wonderful love story that pulls them together like magnets. Neither was looking but they both found love. Awesome.

I’m not sure if I covered all the tropes, but trust me, Zoe Jones and Anderson (Anders) Windham pretty much hit them all. He’s grumpy, she’s sunshine, he’s older and stable and a billionaire business owner, she’s a struggling small cat grooming boutique owner living in the back of her shop.

But this story covers, a meet not so cute, humor, relatives all up in their business and lots of sexy times once they get beyond the awkward fake relationship, forced proximity drama.

There is a hard fought happy ending after Anders gets over that he is not the most important person in the relationship and realizes being close to the woman he loves, Zoe, and his mom, brother and dogs is really the most important thing.

Jolie Day hit it out of the park again with her new romcom One Bossy Date! I can not get over how much I loved this story.
Zoe Jones, a cat groomer/cat boutique owner has had a bit of bad luck come her way.
Insert Anders, the grumpy acting CEO of the family company. Anders is looking for a dog sitter until he goes back to South America. With a little weaseling and some coaxing the gorgeous cat groomer is now a dog sitter?
There was so many funny antics, fake dating, sassy Jim, and an accidental pregnancy?
Jolie brought it all to this story, I laughed out loud, got a little teary eyed and also wanted to shake some characters.
I cant wait to see what Jolie has in store for us next!

One of my favorite romantic reads this season. Many thanks to the talented Jolie Day. The minute Anders enters Zoe's cat boutique the sparks start to fly. Anders was looking for a warm cup of coffee on a cold, rainy day. Instead he meets brightly dressed Zoe who will change Andres life's plans. This book was so hard to put down as this reader wanted to see if this couple's story would end with a happily ever after. Great story to read any place/any time. Has some steamy parts that I needed to keep hidden from the older gentleman sitting next to me on a long flight. Well worth it! I received an advanced reader copy for my honest opinion. These thoughts and feeling are my own regrading this book.
