For Ever And A Day
Their love belonged to another time
After four years, Stephanie was almost certain she'd buried any love she'd once felt for Dare Nayton. He'd been quick to think the worst of her then, and just as quick to cancel their marriage plans.
Now he'd returned to New Zealand, a lovely blonde in tow. Stephanie couldn't help wondering about their future -- and her own.
Dare, it seemed, was bent on reviving the past...including a passion that still flared between them.

Rosalie Henaghan
24 books3 followersBorn 1941 into a farming family of Irish descent, Henaghan was the third of four children.
Henaghan was steered by her school into a teaching career, but after being told her voice was perfect for radio and a particularly unhappy teaching assignment, Henaghan applied for a position at 2ZA radio & was accepted after her first audition.
Henaghan enjoyed a very successful radio career, but a change in her circumstances meant she had to resign and find a job she could do from home. While on radio she had interviewed NZ Mills & Boon author Essie Summers. Henaghan was a fan of Summers' books & felt she could also write to the Mills & Boon format. Henaghan's first attempt was accepted and published. She continued to right but the income from her writing wasn't enough to support her and her young daughter, so she had to find other income, so became a real estate agent and eventually stopped writing.
Then there was another change in Henaghan's life where she became a caregiver to a beloved aunt with Alzheimers. Once again Henaghan needed a form of employment where she could work from home and she resumed writing for Mills and Boon.

Frankly, I was bored. Forty pages in and hero was only making cameo. Each time he saw her it was abrupt and insignificant, in and out, as they barely communicate about anything. There was really no worthy interaction between them. That happened like three or four times, too! I don’t know why the author chose to do that. Nonexistent chemistry…Heroine was just working away as the hero made his untimely cameos, soon the hours turned to day and the days becomes weeks and maybe, just maybe, they will meet again...for an unworthy second or two before he abruptly leaves again? Dnf.

Stupid and brainless H.
They deserve one another.
And it was very abrupt ending , no explanations
no apology.
