A. This biography is a partial biography because it is a short overview of their life and does not give all of the important details; it just gives the main events.
B. This is an authentic biography because it sticks to the facts and gives the dates to each of the parts of her life that they talk about. They are all real events that happened because they align with history and are very simple to make it clear to the younger reader.
C. Why were people mean to her at the time?
What was the Underground Railroad and what was it used for?

This book does a great job explaining Harriet Tubman's life in a shorter version. This book allows for an easy quick read for students that want to know about a historical woman. This book talks about her life as well as the Civil War. I highly reccomend this book to teachers and young children.

This book has not received any awards. It is for ages Pre-k-2. This book tells the shortened story of the timeline of Harriet Tubman's life. It goes through key details and events, such as the Civil War. I like history books and life stories, and I thought this book did a great job of giving historical information in a simple and easy-to-read way. One in class use for this book is during Black History Month. Another in class use could be during a unit on the Civil War.
