It’s a good smutty read but….

This book was recommended from TikTok and it was not an ARC as I have seen most of the reviews were from ARC readers.
While the fun time was good, the writing was mediocre. There was even a time when the author called one of the guys some other name (I believe Jared) that wasn’t even a name of any of the characters in the book. I was confused at first then realized the mistake. Also, I didn’t like her calling the guys “boys” when she would say “the boys” or “my boys” it made me feel like she was talking about them as though they were her kids.
Plus it felt contradicting with the FMC and being with only one man to almost having sex with a stranger within the first hour of meeting him, I didn’t care for that as well as almost banging his friend days after and only meeting him for an hour. Not to mention the author would repeat things and she would call anything bad “trauma” while there are other ways to describe or say “trauma”. The timeline in the book was also an issue it was like speed dating while playing the game of life. The dominant/ submissive roles didn’t feel right how this author wrote it, the whole you need to be on the pill because we want to ride bare back instead of asking her was out of character of a healthy dominant/ submissive partnership. In fact some areas didn’t feel very “healthy” on Reid’s end, it wasn’t a huge issue just more on the minuscule side.
If you want a book to get you a bit hot then this may be the book, the spice was about a 7 for me but the writing wasn’t great and the plot was weak. There will be spin offs and from what I read in the book I can tell of course one will be her best friend Jill’s story and the other I can tell will be Kate’s daughter Lyndsay’s.

This follows Kate who is recently divorced and wants to start over in a new town. She gets a new job, is set up in her apartment and lives next door to some delicious men Reid an EMT and Heath a bar owner. But the past she wants to leave behind comes back and haunts her. Can the boys protect her?

This was delicious and the plot was fantastic. I was gripped from the get-go. I was listening along and reading on my Kindle and this book made me giddy, excited and wanting to scream. This was such a fun but also tense plot book. The way these men treat her after what she has been through sign me up! Also, the bedroom activities were hot as hell.

Also, shout out to A.E Nalle for the fantastic narration of her book. Highly recommend the audio. Excited for the next book!

Kate is a 35 year old single mother to a college aged daughter. She is newly divorced and trying to find herself again. She has moved to to be closer to her best friend Jill. It's time to start over. If only she can figure out what that means. Her cheating husband left her self esteem at an all time low. Not to mention their completely lacking sexual relationship. Then she meets Heath… and also Reid 😏 and they have no trouble coaxing Kate wild side.

THISSSSS BOOKK!!!! Just all the yes, I promise you that you need this book! Heath and Reid are literal book boyfriend goals. Obsessive, dominant, drool worthy, dirty talking alpha males! 🥵 Jesus.
I loved the body positivity they were always giving Kate, even fussing at her when she talked down about her self. While this book was a great smutty read, there was still a great storyline and plot to follow. This had suspense and some twisted parts that just made this all around a great book! Also I really liked Jill, she was so funny and I’m ready for her book! I will definitely be checking out more from this author!

Cuando leí la sinopsis no sabía que me iba a encontrar con ESTE tipo de lectura y la verdad es que fue interesante.

No soy de leer muchos libros eróticos, me gusta más que tengan más trama que páginas de iatusabes y este claramente si bien tiene trama en un 80% iatusabes 😂

Al no ser mi estilo de lectura no me sentí del todo satisfecha con el libro pero ahí ya tiene que ver con qué no es MI estilo. Está bien escrito, bien desarrollado todo esto de la relación de ella con ambos. Me hubiera gustado más desarrollado en ella como madre, amiga, mujer. Pero no es a eso a lo que apunta el libro y lo entiendo.

Me interesaría leer algo de la autora que no sea erótico, porque estoy segura que podría desarrollar muy bien las cosas, las situaciones y todo lo que sucede al rededor de los protagonistas.

Fue una lectura pasajera, entretenida y a veces un poquito repetitiva. Pero no tengo grandes quejas.

My Thoughts: I didn’t really care for any of the main characters. They were just kind of meh and had little to no character development. Kate came across as immature even though she was in her mid-thirties and we never really learned anything about Reid or Heath other than what they did for work, that they had been friends forever and they liked to share their women. Anything beyond that is up to the reader’s imagination. The plot of the story move slowly, but then the ending felt a bit rushed, especially the epilogue.

Jill, h’s best friend, was my favorite and I believe her book his next in the series and I can’t wait to read it.

I thought this was quite the steamy and exciting romance.. Kate is finally getting on with her life after she gets a divorce. She ends up moving beside two of the hottest younger men she’s ever met. Heath and Reid are instantly attracted to Kate and quickly pursues her. There is a sizzling hot chemistry between Kate and the men, however, her ex seems to be hell-bent on causing trouble. I think one of the characters I really enjoyed from this book is Kate’s best friend Jill, and cannot wait to read her love story.

Kate was at the bar with her friend, when the bar owner Heath told her to leave because he thought she was stealing a beer, she told him off and left to cool off outside, when a creepy guy started to attack her, she didn't know Heath had followed to apologize. He walked her home, they find out they are neighbors. Heath and Kate start to make out in the elevator, when the elevator opens and standing there is Reid, roommate of Heath's. The three of them fall into a relationship, but things start to go south when Kate's Ex husband finds her.

** The book has some errors like, a couple times it will say Health instead of Heath. Then there was a point it said Jack instead of Reid. (Who is Jack?)

I just finished this ARC and I don't know where to start. I loved the story, but I feel it can be much better. Please don't get me wrong, I adore every aspect of the story from Heath to Reid, Jill to Samantha, and Lindsey to Kate. I think it has a lot of potentials and needs some slight tweaking. I believe this is the first book for A.E. Nalle, and she did a tremendous job of giving us a spicy and steamy love story with just the right amount of action 🔥


Wickedly Trapped is a hot spicy story about Kate, a 35-year-old divorcee that has just started her new life when she meets the drop-dead gorgeous Greek God Heath and the dark Viking Reid. After a steamy encounter, she finds herself trapped between them with confusing emotions and nervous butterflies. They begin a smutty throuple until her past rears its ugly head and brings terrors to her newly made independence.

First of all, I need to applaud A.E. Nalle for her body positivity throughout the book. I was saddened by how insecure Kate was of herself, and the way those men of hers praised her, was enough to make me swoon 🥵. I also loved that the age gap was from the woman's side this time instead of it always being the man’s. There's nothing wrong with being 35 with two 26-year-old hot boyfriends! Although, Kate did seem kind of immature. I get that she didn't have any sort of life when she was married to Tom, but the word "girl parts" was said wayyy too much. There's nothing wrong with the word, but I felt like it was highlighted more than once and since the FMC is an adult, other words should have been used. Also, it's better if there was more proofreading because in more than one scene, the characters’ names have been replaced and some words were even written in place of other words. It's minimal, and not really obvious if you weren't focusing much. There wasn't much development of the other characters. We only knew a bit about Jill's life, nothing about Samantha and Emily, nothing about Lindsey, her daughter, and minimal information about Heath and Reid. Also, the ending was kind of rushed and was said as part of an internal monologue.The last part of the book was supposed to be the most important, but it was said as if the author is remembering the things that happened. Even the drama that unfolded between her and her "boys", as she liked to call them (which is cute btw), it was said as part of her monologue. If there were more scenes between them and we were able to read the "ending" as it is during the action, it might have been better.

Well, after all of this, I enjoyed it. It was very smutty 😉, I felt somewhat close to the FMC and that she had to be protected because of her zero-to-non-existent life experience. I enjoyed the MFM throuple idea, especially when the doctor was amused by her shame, or lack thereof 😏😉.

There was no trigger warnings on the copy I had nor in the description. TW body dysmorphia and body shaming i didn’t read any more to figure any other ones.

I was given this read by the author for free for a honest review and please under this is only my personal opinion and feel others should make their own judgment. But I do feel the need express why I had to DNF. Although I understand the Beautiful concept of a middle age divorced plus size woman who has no self esteem which I know many of us love and is wanted by two hot younger men that do everything in their power to make her feel wanted. I mean who doesn’t love that right. It just wasn’t for me. So sadly I had to DNF. I am plus size and love a happy ending for us beauties but I was 17% in and I struggled reading it with how “fät” references were already mention multiple times. And I still had more of the book to read. I loved Kate and Heath and Reid from what I read. But I personally couldn’t handle the body shaming from her ex and to herself especially when it’s not clear from the cover and description nor did I see trigger warnings at least with the copy I got but could of overlooked it. It’s common I get it but I felt that the cover it’s self was deceiving already (which I know author doesn’t have the final say.) because it doesn’t show a plus size character. I encourage that maybe a discreet cover would’ve been better as I was not prepared (my fault) as to what I was reading ahead of time only went back the description given.

Again I always encourage people to please make the judgment for yourself. It just wasn’t for me and I needed to be honest as this effected me in some way and know someone else may also understand.

“I shouldn’t already be having these strong feelings for them.”

To be honest this book is really 3 1/2 stars but I rounded up because this is apparently her first book and I really liked most of the characters. The three mains were great although Kate sometimes was all over the place. But Heath and Reid were solid. I liked how they were different but complimented each other and totally bought into them sharing her. They seemed very much a team in every way. I liked that their moms had been best friends so they had been bffs since birth. My favorite character was Kate’s bff Jill. I just adored her even though there is much we don’t know about her. The little we do make it clear there is a lot going on underneath that confident bossy exterior I plan to read the next book specifically because it’s about her.

The weaknesses in the book prevent it from being great. To begin with, the relationship between the three mains started out too strong, too fast. There were a lot of editing errors that should have been caught. Plus the writing itself wasn’t particularly smooth. It very much reads like a first time writer book. Still, everyone starts somewhere and to be honest I’ve seen a lot much worse from established authors. I’m willing to give her a chance to polish her writing up. As I said above I plan to read at least the next book. Hopefully the writing and editing will improve. And since Jill already knows the charming Detective Santos there is no worry of their relationship moving too fast at the start.

A spicy book detailing a recent divorcee getting her "starting over" ever after in the best way possible; with her two hottie BFF neighbors.

Kate, a mid 30s divorcee, moves to a new town to be closer to her college-student daughter and start over after the end of her 19 year marriage. The marriage was horrible and Kate is looking forward to finding how who she is on her own and proving that she doesn't need her jerk of an ex. Income Heath and Reid who completely rock her world and prove that Kate is worthy of love (and worshipping). As their relationship builds Kate's unfortunate ex comes back into the picture and does his best to ruin everything Kate is trying to build for herself. Heath and Reid are not about to let that happen though.

Never in a book have I been more jealous of a fictional character. I would kill to be Kate, even for a day!! Heath and Reid prove to be awesome characters and alongside Kate create a developed story that is enjoyable to read with more than enough spice to have me fanning myself from all the steam.

If you are looking for a classically written book with full character and story development this is not for you. If you are looking for a well-written steamy romance book full of erotic romps with an engaging storyline and group of characters this is a highly recommended read.

This is a reverse age gap MFM romance. 3.5 read rounded up

It's nice to see an over 25 heroine. For me 9 years isn't that big of a deal and 35 is still young even though she keeps thinking why such hot young guys would want to be with such an "old lady." The only reason why she might seem so much older is because her daughter, whom she had as a teenager, has started college. Also the character has the insecurities of what you might see in a younger character but then again she had only been with her high school sweetheart who had beaten her self esteem down.

The steam started quickly and was piping hot. Her two men made sure to make her feel sexy as well as fiercely protecting her from her jerk of an ex husband.

I think this would appeal to anyone who is a sucker for a MFM pairing and want their Heroes to be good guys . While the events are dramatic toward the end, I think the heroines ordeal with her ex could be very relatable. Also might appeal to people wanting a romance with a full fledged adult h starting over and making it on her own.

Before long Kate finds herself in a situation she never imagine with the Greek gods that lived next door. Kate had never felt so loved and appreciated in her entire life, but would that all come crashing down when her past seeks to find her?

I loved this book. I could not put it down. Along with the super spicy bedroom scenes, the story line was also mesmerizing and the ending has left me wanting more! Definitely recommend this one!

This book took me a minute to get into it due to the details at the beginning but once she meets Heath things pick up.

Kate is a divorcee trying to get the life she put on hold to marry when she got pregnant by her then boyfriend, Tom, at 16. She dedicated her life to her husband and child, until she caught Tom in an affair with his assistant, Vivian. Now she is divorced and trying to find her self -- oh she did after meeting Heath and Reid. They opened up a world she did know existed much less she wanted/needed to be a part of.

Now Tom wants her back - why? However, he ain't the Tom she was married to...now he is rank, mean and very disturbingly evil. Heath nor Reid is having it, and makes it clear that Kate is there and they will fight to keep her...literally!!!!!

I love that Heath and Reid, both give Tom, at different times, a piece of the the but whipping he needs to clear his mind - it doesn't work. But Tom finds out when you come for Kate, you got a whole family to fight!!!!!.

“Wickedly Trapped” was a steamy, dramatic romance that kept me turning page after page as I watched the relationship between Kate, Heath and Reid unfold. This story gives an interesting look at a freshly divorced and uncertain woman who heads out to discover a new lease on life and suddenly finds herself entangled in a passionate polyamorous relationship while dealing with some of the demons from her past. The steam is hot hot hot and while some of the drama is a little predictable and the characters do not have a ton of depth to them, this was such a fun and enjoyable read.

From a technical stance, this book could use just a little improvement: there was at least one instance of a place holder name that wasn’t changed; a few typos here and there and a few too many instances of Kate releasing breaths she didn’t even know she was holding…but even so, this was truly a fun read.

There are definitely triggers in this book, so be sure to look for those before reading.

I truly enjoyed this story, as it got me out of a reading slump. However there were quite a few things about the story that made my eye twitch a few times. I wish there would have been more character development for everyone other than Kate. Heath and Reid had zero character development or even background given other than their occupations. Even Jill didn’t have much, as we know she has something from her past but no information is given other than a name.
As a parent, it was also strange that after the first instance of DV, Kate doesn’t go check on her child.
Overall it was a good story, but there were definitely a few plot holes that left me looking for more.
I do plan on reading the next one. I can’t wait to hear Jill’s story.

Wickedly Trapped was a fantastic first in the series and I cannot wait to read more from A.E Nalle! I gave it 4/5 stars overall, but for spiciness, it is definitely a 5 out of 5!

Honestly, I don't read a whole lot of erotica anymore. I always find that it's just all sex and not very good stories. (Not always a bad thing but not what I'm typically wanting in a book. I need a good story too.) But Wickedly Trapped surprised me! Yes, the spicy parts are very frequent, and also amazing and soooooooo spicy. But the storyline is actually really good too. There was good character development, and all of the characters were extremely loveable.

I would recommend this book to anyone (appropriately aged) who loves a great spicy read and a really great story. Just please be sure to check trigger warnings!

Spicy Erotic Suspense

This one has been on my Kindle for ages and I finally started it. A quick, super spicy MFM read about a divorcee starting over and the 2 men who show her how to love herself and embrace her future.

After her ex-husband cheated, Kate leaves her small Georgia hometown behind, relocates to the Florida panhandle and lands at job at her bestie’s publishing firm when she meets her new neighbors, 2 best friends who love nothing more than sharing, dominating and pleasuring the same woman. This throuple has a lot of spice that is well-written and steamy. The suspense comes when Kate’s ex loses his shit and starts stalking and attacking her.

This was surprisingly well done. I loved Kate’s journey to happiness, the romance, and relationships to side characters. It’s easy to see where the series is going and I look forward to seeing the cast all find their HEAs.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I loved that the age gap had the female being older; there are not enough age gap books where the female is the older one.

I was a little concerned because I did not notice any trigger warnings at the beginning of the book, and this book is full of what many will consider triggers. I personally have no triggers so not a problem for me, but I do like to know what I am getting into. On that note, the book description did not do this book justice.

The spice is in this book was on point; could not have asked for anything better, except for some of the words used. However the over all writing was subpar. I found myself questioning wording of many parts of the book along with word choices. Again great story, I just feel like the delivery could have been better.

This book starts a little rough in the story development phase between the three characters meeting and forming a relationship. As a reader I enjoy the sexy times as much as the next but I need to be emotionally invested with the characters before that occurs otherwise it's just porn and this book gets very close to this feeling. It is not until about midway through the book that the author begins to find a rhythm and voice to the story that makes it feel more like erotica then sex slapped on a page. There are also times the author mixes up character names and personalities that can detract from the read. Overall this was far from the worse erotic fiction story I have read but it does suffer from lack of editing and finetuning.

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Kate was a teen mom who married the teen dad and had a baby and a marriage way too young. Her husband ended up being a deadbeat who cheated on her. But worse than that, kept her essentially trapped, by not allowing her to work and have her own money. After she discovered the cheating, she divorced her husband and moved to the same small town her best friend lives and the town her daughter 's college is at. While out with her best friend, she meets bar owner Heath and discovers they live next door to each other. They run into his best friend and roommate Reid. Both men want to share Kate which is a bit overwhelming for Kate who has only had mediocre s3x with one person. It becomes intense fast

I thought the premise of this novel sounded great & I was excited to pick it up…however this was short lived excitement

Things I liked: age-gap where the FMC was older/divorced, and the characters *had* potential

Things I didn’t like: the instalove feel flat/was hard to buy into and my major issue— the stilted writing and lack of editing.

The writing style made this so hard so slog through, the whole book read like this—“We went for dinner. I wore a red dress with silver heels. It was raining out. Heath ordered the steak. He rubbed my clitoris”

Good level of spice, but unfortunately it was lost in the stiff writing style and a relationship that didn’t feel real or fully development. I’m not quite sure how the average rating on this is so high!

Getting pregnant at 16 and married to her high school sweetheart she is devastated when she finds that he has been cheating on her with his receptionist and decides she needs to learn to find herself. Will Kate ever really get away from her ex? This book is a page turner and will keep you on an emotional roller coaster ride.

Great intensity with a heaping helping of sweet. The good guys are awesome and the bad guy..... well, let's just say he almost got what he deserved. The story shows how the perceived wrong by a totally selfcentered individual can twist every day life into a lifethreatening ordeal. At the same time it shows that if you truly believe in "your" people, everything is possible. Steamy, sappy at times, but always right on the money with how much of the ingredients are needed to make the story special, this book has everything a good book needs to be a great book.

Can Heath & Reid show Kate that age does not matter?

What a brilliant book. I absolutely loved Kate, Reid & Heath's story. The dynamic between the 3 main characters is what had me hooked right from the very first line. I could not put the book down until I had finished. Sparks definitely fly between Kate, Heath & Reid. Be prepared for plenty of steam in this erotic story. Will there be a HEA for Kate, Reid & Heath or will her past destroy it all.
This is my first time reading this author & it won't be my last. Definitely worth 5 stars.

This was a fantastic smutty read! The scenes were delicious and totally off the charts spicy. Where it fell flat for me was the plot…the story line was great but I wasn’t connecting with the characters the way I expected to. I think a little more development in the characters arcs would have helped. Some of it was so glanced over or rushed I didn’t get to really connect. I love where it was all going and enjoyed the book from all aspects especially the body positivity and finding who you are after divorce and finding strength to be yourself again. I look forward to reading more from AE Nalle

Overall, this was a good read (or listen as I did the audio version). The author herself does the narration, and in my opinion, did a great job.

This book is a little more spice heavy than plot forward, which is not usually a preference of mine, but I still enjoyed it.

I think the only critiques I had for this book are honestly preferences. I’m just not a fan of using language like “wet channel”, “wet folds”, etc when describing a 🐱. Additionally, the FMC referred to both men as “her boys” and it just made it seem like they were children.

You know I LOVE a good reverse harem romance, and ladies and gentlemen, WE FOUND ANOTHER ONE. Let me tell you exactly why you should be reading this book.

I’d say this was pretty well done! The characters come to life, and if anyone knows me well enough, they’d know I’d have trouble deciding between Heath and Reid. And that’s exactly what happened. If you LOVE two hunks of men closing you in a hot man-sandwhich, this book is exactly what you need for a quick smutty palette. *evil laughter*

Kate runs into her two HOT neighbours while trying to put her ex-husband behind her. Unfortunately, her past always catches up with her. But let’s not get put off. Why?? Because we LOVE it when men who are obsessed with us get jealous 🤌🤌 If you love having these guys beat up deserving ex-husbands, you’re gonna love these two. If you know me, I always say characters make or break a book. 100% break my back instead.

I was not expecting to love this as much as I did.
Kate is in a new town, freshly divorced, and hasn’t been alone in 18 years.
Now she’s free, and stumbles into the life of two best friends, Heath and Reid who love to share.

I enjoyed the rawness of these characters, as well as the vulnerability they have been a threesome. It isn’t conventional for two men to love the same woman so deeply and not be jealous or into each other too.

I will definitely be reading the next one!
