Sometimes truth is way stranger than fiction… And sometimes it’s murder. While hiking in Oregon’s gorgeous temperate rainforest, RV traveler and amateur sleuth, Tulia Blake, encounters a murder scene unlike anything she’s ever seen before.
She’s far from an expert, but even to her untrained eyes, it looks like someone tried to frame the notorious Sasquatch for the crime.
On her way to get help, Tulia runs into an injured woman wandering the trails and, further down, a group of self-proclaimed cryptid hunters – those who are determined to find and prove the existence of Big Foot or other unexplained phenomena.
Her gut tells her that someone among them is responsible for the grisly scene, but to figure out which one, she’ll have to get closer to the group of strangers who give her the heebie jeebies.
Will she find the killer , or will her inquisitive nature get her into more odd trouble than she could ever imagine?
Travel along with Tulia and find out in this exciting Cozy Mystery!
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.
Book 4 was enjoyable! The protagonist won the lottery, bought an expensive RV, and is traveling the U.S. with her African Grey Parrot for company. Everywhere they go, murder follows. And she’s drawn to it! She just can’t help herself! LOL! Short story. I recommend starting at the beginning of this series and read them in order.
This is the fourth one I read. I bought 4 of them .. Which is rare. I would love to read the rest of them, but I can’t afford to buy them . They are not available at the library.
Tulia is back, this time in Oregon. After she stumbles upon a body and an injured woman claiming to be attacked by Bigfoot, she becomes skeptical. The story unfolds from there and I really enjoyed it. I love that Samuel is in this book and I hope they do become a couple. They make a great team.
In book 4, Tulia takes her parrot for a walk in the woods, when he tires she takes him back to the RV and goes on a hike by herself. She is enjoying the forest until she hears a woman scream. She hardly hesitates before going off looking for the person. She comes across a campsite where the tent is all torn up. Behind the tent she finds a man who is bloody and dead. She continues on to find the woman. The woman insists that it was Bigfoot that killed her boyfriend. Next three Bigfoot hunters show up to get in on the action. Before the end of this one she not only solves the murder but dispells the Bigfoot myth, at least in her mind.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Then came the awful smell and the dead man . she finds Melody and can't believes she is hearing a story about how Bigfoot had attacked Melody and her boy friend. Who believes in Bigfoot?! Enjoy this cozy mystery and she how Tulia's gets herself and Melody out of the forest before Bigfoot comes back.
In this 4th book in the Rambling RV Cozy mystery series Tulia is in Oregon and taking a hike with Cicero. She hears a scream and goes to find out what happened. A person is dead and she finds an injured woman who says it was Big Foot. Later she runs into three Big Foot hunters. Is it really Big Foot or an animal or another human? Will her search for the truth get her into trouble? This was an enjoyable, quick read that had you wondering what was going to happen as Tulia investigates on her own. Now on to her next stop. And will Samuel help her out with her issue with her ex boyfriend?
Tulia never expected she'd come across Bigfoot in Oregon of all places, but at first glance that's what it looked like. There were a couple of superfans of Bigfoot too, but was this just a clever murder coverup or what? At least Tulia got to meet up with her new friend Samuel since he happened to be close by in Portland. As always, Tulia figured it out and left having added a new friend to her trusted friends group. Can't wait to see what happens next, looks like it's gonna be in California!
I have read the first three books in the series and this is a good addition. Tulia heads to Oregon. She takes her gray parrot on a hike in the woods. After walking a few hours she hears a scream and goes looking for the person in trouble. From there the action picks up as she finds a wounded girl and a dead body. A fun read and I will continue the series. Highly recommended.
Love reading about Tulia’s adventures as she rv’s across the country. It’s like taking a vacation but you don’t have to leave home. Can’t wait to see where she goes next.
This is a fun series and this book continues the journey. A well written and creative storyline combined with interesting characters and a mystery that keeps you guessing makes for a delightful reading experience.
!have to admit I have never read a cozy tale as strange as this one . only Julia could win the lottery and still run into Bigfoot. I am sure I would be on my way home by now!
The story continues in Oregon with an interesting murder. This is the type of story I would read in the old Ellery Queen Mystery magazine. A great Kindle Unlimited find.
Can this trip get any more interesting? Well a possible Bigfoot situation is not really fun. But a little help from a friend was a really good vacation moment. Hope that happens again.
I enjoyed this story very much. It was fun seeing the events unfold. Samuel made another appearance. I hope we get to see more of him in the next book.
I live in Oregon, so it was fun to read the author's take on the state. Enjoyed the book. Was glad to see Tulia met up with Samuel again. Recommend reading.
