Stephanie Taylor writes a romantic comedy series about a fictional island called "Christmas Key," as well as several other standalone romance, YA, and middle grade titles.
I made it through this entire series and didn’t really rate any of them until now.
I got the first book of the series either free or cheap through one of the many sites I use for this purpose. I like to try and read books geared towards the season and this concept felt fun and fresh. My overall feeling is that the series was just okay. Part of why I kept going is because the books were short enough, easy reads, but some of the dialogue felt so cheesy and forced, I found it difficult not to cringe. It almost felt like when your parents try to be relatable by attempting to use what they think is the appropriate lingo. I did enjoy how the final book brought a close to characters we met from prior books.
Lucy and her travelers end their year celebrating a new year in NYC...a perfect ending to a great year of travels..ups and downs of ,ife...and a happy cast of characters unbeknownst to most that they were all assembled in the same place...a great read, whats next for Lucy...
Loved this book. It so perfectly wrapped the series together and also touched on several of the characters from this series. This series even touched on Stephanie’s previous series “Christmas Quay”. What delightful reading. Think of all the places you’d like to go and then read this group of books.
Aww we got to see all the couples and how they turned out. I hope we get to see more of these stories. Lucy has more support than she knows. She missed out on seeing all the people from her adventures and I was hoping she would see them. This was a good one.
Stephanie Taylor is a fantastic storyteller, weaving lives together in ways we wouldn't expect. The final book in The Holiday Adventure Club series has us meeting old friends and new, and it is woven together magically.
I have read 3 different book series of Steph’s, I have enjoyed everyone of them , she is a great storyteller, of course it helps that I can relate to the places she takes us. Will read all the books I find of hers !!
I really enjoyed The Holiday Adventure Club series! This book in particular was a great wrap up to the series. It was nice to see the ending tied up in a nice little bow!
A cute holiday and travel story. It is the last in the series and includes updates on characters from previous books in the series. Fun fluffy quick read.
