The companie's central AI changes one of its recommendations. That never happend before and is very alarming. Is it no longer trustworthy?

It started off OK, the style was a bit clumsy, but I am not sure if the German translation is to blame.
Then there are some jarring jumps in the plot, an unbelievable love story, some half-baked "IT philosophy". I lost my faith in the author and quit after about 2/3
