Little boy Amos becomes the pet of an irresponsible fish who doesn't clean him, feed him, etc. Excellent story for young children to learn that having a pet means constant care and responsibility. How would they feel if it happened to them?

Interesting point of view to help teach the lesson of “you are not ordinary or surrounded by ordinary things if they make you happy.”
