The Millionaire's Chosen Bride

Rate this book
When Melody takes a much-needed break, the last thing she expects is to have a passionate vacation affair. Shy and modest, she isn't used to devastatingly handsome millionaires like Adam Carlisle—a man clearly accustomed to getting exactly want he wants!

However hard Mel tries to resist, Adam tries twice as hard to seduce the innocent beauty. Before long, Adam decides he must take Mel as his bride, if only to ensure she stays right where he wants her…firmly by his side!

The pacing on this was odd. The man was a self-important idiot. He genuinely got angry with the woman for not telling him everything about herself when he had not even once given her reason to trust him with that confidence. Very unpleasant. And then, inexplicably, the woman agreed that she had been in the wrong to not confess her entire past (some of which she didn't even know) to him. Stupid.

after second chapter I just skipped pages because book is so boring. and Mel feels guilty about everything...buying the house, working across the Earth, ect. also, hero is emotional bully towards Mel sometimes.

Kinda dull for a home renovation romance. The “secrets” we’re built up were so lame and didn’t change the story at all. Skip it.

I Don’t Know Where The Title Came From And The Introduction Of The The Book Must Have Been From Another Story. But Most Telling Of This Story Is That The Preview Of The Story Doesn’t Take Place Till The Last Chapter. And Then Even Further To Prevent You From Reading This The HEA Isn’t About The H&h But Another Couple Books Likes This Would Have Been Better To Save A Tree. This Is A Book I Should Have Thrown Away After Reading It 15 Years Ago.
