This is a great book for a young child to use with parents to explore some scientific principles. I read it because I was looking for quick science demos to use with students. There were quite a few that I already do some version of and a few of them were better versions. There were also some experiments that I haven't done and have added to my bag of tricks. :) The experiments are well-explained and use household materials so parents and their children should be able to explore these easily. ...more
