A very comprehensive, easy-to-read, step-by-step guide through the process of writing a grant proposal. Very thorough, including quotes and advice from actual grantmakers about what they look for in a proposal. I got this book for a class, but in all seriousness I could have learned everything I needed just by reading it. The style is concise and accessible, making it an excellent reference for the lay grantwriter. I will definitely keep Getting Funded on my shelf.
I'm taking a grant-writing class for my "Senior Capstone". I don't have time to compare this book to others on the subject right now but this one seems well-organized and has been helpful for learning the basics so far.
