I've made it through page 98 out of 276 pages. I'm finding it a bit difficult to retain the information for the sake of implementation, and a much more contextual overview than I really need right now. It's not the simple, practical manual for using Facebook effectively for business growth that I thought it would be. However,it does provides scads of how-tos and stories, and I like the Glossary as a reference tool. I think I'll do better using online video tutorials on Facebook. That said, I'm only 1/3 of the way through, and I haven't tried to use the book in updating my profile, or leveraging Facebook for business. In fact, I've just started to create business fan page, which isn't yet published, and I was hoping to have more to go on.

It was an informative book. Facebook had evolved in some of the areas mentioned in this book, but the bulk of the information helped me to help my current clients. It was a #GoodRead

As an author, there are so many of us on Facebook, Twitter, and left MySpace but kept them open for now to get some social media networking exposure for possible book sales. It was tailored to businesses (which we are entrepreneurs too) and most of it, I was aware except stats and advertising on FB.

Definitely a great book for those just starting out. Gives a step-by-step introduction into the Facebook world.
For those already established in Social Media and familiar with Facebook, it can get a little boring. There were some great tips though that I took note of.

I purchased this book when it came out in 2010. Unfortunately, because social media changes so often, parts of it were already out of date by the time it was published. However, it still provides a good framework for those wanting to develop a Facebook marketing strategy.

Useful overview for marketers, though a bit long-ish. Nothing spectacular.
