I think if you were just starting to explore the world of midcentury furnishings, this might serve as a basic primer, but the downside to that is that it's just not visually appealing. It covers the basics in terms of some well-known designers, materials, shapes/styles, and a few (not-too-interesting DIYs) but there is plenty of material on the internet that's much better than what you'd find here. Not recommended, even as a starting point.
