This is a great book for children, particularly those who might be engineering or science-oriented. My son loves trains, and when he was four years old, I bought this book for him.
The story captured his imagination. The engineering occupied his mind.
I thought the engineering might be beyond his capability, but I was wrong. He wrapped his mind around it in ways I'd never imagined.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series.
