Storyline: GOOD
Intimacy Level: X-treme INTENSE BDSM / VERY GOOD

A very, very, very intense BDSM story for me. Morgan use to be on top of the business world, until it all came crashing down for her along with wall street. She is now broke with no money and is about to be evicted. She needs a job desperately but no one is willing to hire the once stellar Wall Street business woman. The only job that was available was a personal assistant position for business mogul, Donathon. In order to get the part, Morgan has to compete in a reality show set up by Donathon to become the winner. Donathon has set up this whole scheme to have Morgan walk right into his trap as Donathon detest Morgan extremely, because of something that he thought she was responsible for. In private he punishes her intensely with is dominant persona and in public, Morgan is competing in a reality show trying to win to pay her debts. In time, the ice around Donathon's heart will melt and his attraction for her will surpass his hatred.
Two things: one, if you are not open to reading new things, or into hardcore BDSM then this book is not for you. I have to admit Donathon's hatred seem to take over at times leaving you to raise an eyebrow. One would say where was Morgan's self-respect, but you never know what someone would do in a desperate situation. Two, I liked the book. if you actually take out the BDSM and leave the hot sex, it is still a good story with a nice plot.
In the beginning, Donathon would play these games to make her beg but it was also causing him to have more of an attraction to Morgan. Donathon seem conflicted at times with his feelings of wanting Morgan. Sometimes I felt like I wanted to slap him myself and say make your mind up you hate her or you don't. Morgan was definitely caught between a rock and a hard place with her situation, I think she handle it ok sometimes. When their sexual frustration finally came to a high point and both gave in, it was like an all night steamy marathon. The book had an apprentice reality TV show feel to it that I liked; I also came across this book a couple of times and was not interested. I think the way the product preview is written made me not want to read the book, but I finally gave in and took a chance.
The book definitely had BDSM tendencies, hardcore spanking, humiliation, graphic and explicit acts with single and multiple partners. So, if you know how to handle your BDSM without being turned off, this will be a read for you.

Man I love Roxy Harte. Her characters are flawed to beat hell --- and you'd think they'd be non relatable (in other words I cannot see "me" in most of them) but she never fails to make me love them - and feel for them. I loved how the two MC's interacted in this one --- the chemistry was perfect and the story kept me intrigued until the end. It is also more casually kinky then some of her other books - so those who don't want hard core BDSM should enjoy this one - bit of spanking, paddling -- plus humiliation (which is not my favorite thing but in Harte's books I just eat it up).
Highly recommended.
