How Do Bees Make Honey? is one of the “Tell Me Why Tell Me How” non-fiction science book series written by the fabulous Melissa Stewart. Each book is loaded with gorgeous photography, fascinating facts, and questions sprinkled along the way to challenge readers about what they just read. There is also a fun scientific activity in the afterward, a list of books and website to learn more about bees, and a glossary of definitions for all the vocabulary that was boldly printed throughout the book. This book is perfect for elementary age students to help better understand the life cycle of a bee and how honey is made, or for just a fun read.

Personally I am a little less excited about sprinkling my food with honey after reading this book.
