A basic story with elements of football (soccer), counting, and doing the laundry. Nothing amazing about the story.

I'm not a big fan of books based on TV shows as the writing style is usually terrible and boring but this book surprised me and for a toddler book based on Peppa Pig, it wasn't too bad! Peppa's Washing Day follows the story of Peppa as she decides to try and help with the washing but things don't turn out as planned.

This is a short story and simple to read as it is aimed at toddlers but it is good how we still got to enjoy a story that got the children thinking with some counting and colours being mentioned that are good for the children to learn from.

The children loved the illustrations as it's recognisable to them from the TV series. I don't think there's much more to say about the illustrations, they are just as you'd expect, colourful, fun and lots of well known characters.

This is a nice book for toddlers. I wouldn't rush out to seek another of the books in the series but for what it is it's quite good and the children enjoyed it which is all that matters.

Peppa's washing mishaps create a very funny and interesting adventure. The book involves many young peoples favourite little pig and is quite comedic. It has bright illustrations and also is mostly decodable, making it a good book to read with younger children.
The book is quite fun and shows Peppa learning a new skill such as washing and the issues that can arise from this chore.
