I'm balancing out reading a 500 page Russian novel by also logging a 30 page picture book about the Red Sox. The two-star review is solely due to the disrespect shown by not giving the "W" page to my favorite BoSox when I was a kid, the chicken man, Wade Boggs. Ted Williams should have been given the "T" page over 70s hero Luis Tiant.

As a die hard Red Sox fan, I loved this book. It gives statistical information on many of the greatest Red Sox players. An alphabet book for adults!

This is one of those alphabet books that isn't really for kids. The illustrations provoke lots of questions (why's his head so big?) and it seems more a good gift for an adult sports-fan. Suggested by our librarian since our 3-year old is really interested in baseball lately, but not very helpful on that front.
