A story about a girl (Ellen) who's independent enough to take off her clothes, piece by piece, and responsible enough to put her clothes on her stuffed toys, one by one.
Finally, she puts on her grandpa's hat, arranges all her toys around her and is totally happy!
Anyone who's got an active kid will immediately see how wonderfully the book shows children's favourite plays called 'Put on mommy's jumper' and 'Take your socks off five million times a day' and 'Running around naked is fab'.
I wouldn't go that far as to interpret what bad things my baby can possibly learn from the book that is simply warm and hilarious. If I thought about reading in such terms, my baby should think it's okay to eat people (Red Riding Hood), cut off your toes if your shoes are too small (Cinderella), run away from home (Ronja) or live with a horse (Pippi Longstocking).
Hopefully, she will just learn (or has already learnt, thanks to Ellen and her missing ball from another book from the series) that reading may be fun.

It was an okay book. Kinda weird cause the little girl is naked for half the book. I wouldnt want my kid to read it cause they might get the idea that they dont have to wear clothes if they dont want to.

Unbearably cute, takes me back 15 years, when I first started learning French. And, also, made me realize that I really need to revise my French at some point!
