My therapist asked me to read this book as a way to recover from Same Sex Attraction (SSA). He said, "You have believed lies from Satan about yourself from when you are a child. When you get healing from those lies the change is instant." Note, there is no examples or case studies that show theophostic prayer can heal someone from SSA. I can't find them in the book or on the internet. I contacted the author some time about case studies and it seems he is not available.

I could not give it a higher rating than two stars. It has is a log of good information about recovery; however, I just do not see how this is affective over treatments such as EMDR, CBT or DBT.

Book was good. It is part of the newer mindfulness movement sweeping the world, but this is done from a Christian perspective.

I believe, there are other and perhaps better ways to neutralize negative emotions in our life, and doing so in a prayerful and Scriptural way, via Emotional Freedom Techniques, or Christian EFT.

I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a God-given way to become emotionally healthy in order to move forward in Jesus to look at EFT for Christians, both the book and the website.

To God be all the glory! Amen!

It was good, but not super good. I will probably never read it again, and I'm not sure I'd really recommend it, although it does answer a lot of questions people may have about this type of ministry. The grammar is also poor in places, and there are wrong usages of punctuation, etc, which lead me to believe that this may have been self-published, or something like that. Not horrible, not good either.

The Tools in this book for complete freedom from bondage, pain, fear, shame, false guilt, anxiety, and emotional pain helped me in so many ways. God has changed my life through it. I still have a ways to go but I will be forever thankful for what God did in me through the tools that are in that book. Simply allowing the Holy Spirit to Minister in a deeper way, healing deep rooted wounds, cleansing and purifying the brokenness....

Great intro to tpm which offers a revolutionary way to connect with God and so receive healing from the hurts of the past. Explains how the lies we develop from the past can trigger us and rob us from peace for years, and restoring our minds and hearts is possible.
