The story was ok, but I'm really not convinced of the usefulness of these stories that substitute a picture for a word. They used almost exclusively so easy words and words repeated a lot. I think highlighting them would've been better.

I horribly dislike books that use pictures for words and not key to them. I don't know the people's names 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

Scooby Doo Clues #5
More average Scooby Doo fare here with predictable text and not much really to get excited about.
No author willing to be named again apparently.

This book is very good for a young reader. The pictures are well done.

This is a storybook that young readers can read semi on their own. The text has pictures in places of some of the words. Trying to read this out loud to a non reader it was frustrating but it is a great book for a non reader learning to read. And the story isn't one that is scary for young children.
