This is a book for the bright little kid (me too! this is a book for me too!)
I say this because there's hardly any person who does not enjoy puzzles, and this book is full of it. It's basically based on the popular children's fantasy adventure series "Magic Tree House". There are over 200 puzzles to solve, so you can imagine how a puzzle lover will feel about this book.
I can still remember my first reaction after opening a page of this book. Each page has a different sort of puzzle and I became ecstatic after discovering this. I was literally jumping and my friend had to remind me to calm down.
By the way, the puzzles are made for kids, so most puzzles are interesting yet uncomplicated. You will find simple hieroglyphic symbols, crosswords, maze, find the difference etc. Even though these seem like fun activities for a quite child, trust me, anyone can enjoy this. Me and my friend tried to solve the puzzles together and each time we solved something very quickly, we would go like "Yes!Yeah!" I also tried to play it with my partner and it became more interesting because he's competitive af. We would race against time about who solves the puzzles first and suddenly the book became more exciting. We didn't want to write in the book, so we ended up solving many puzzles on our phones' Memo part. Overall, the puzzles are not complex enough to baffle you but interesting enough to entertain you.

Loved this. Adam loved doing the activities and I loved that he was making connections to stories he had read or getting excited about stories he was going to read based on the activity. Makes a great travel in the car or do something quiet while waiting somewhere activity. Was great to take places this summer - he always had something fun to do.
