This was a really cute book! My daughter who is 2 absolutely loved this one! She picked out the treasure, boats and shells, and just had so much fun with this one. The pictures were very cute and well illustrated as well. I highly enjoyed this and enjoyed reading it to my daughter as well! I would love to read more stories from this author to my daughter in the future!

Where Do Pirates Go on Vacation is the latest adventure in the Go On Vacation series by Kim Ann. My 6-year-old grandson and I really enjoyed this clever and engaging little adventure. It pulled us in from the beginning with interesting, bright, and colourful illustrations that captured our attention while bringing the whole story to life.
My Grandson read the story, and had no trouble reading, or understanding it. We enjoyed the rhyming verses that told the story as well as the guessing games along the way- following the pirates as they decided what to do, or where to go on their vacation. We discover if pirates even need a vacation as they are always sailing all over the world, looking for treasure and finding adventure….
Highly recommended. Engaging, fun, imaginative, and enjoyable children’s picture book. Looking forward to whatever Kim Ann brings us next.

The first thing that caught my eye about this book is the excellent graphics!! They are so clear and colorful and I young readers will love them as well! This book is great for beginning readers as they are very short sentences but this book could be enjoyed by all ages!

Where Do Pirates Go On Vacation is a cute story that any child of any age woyld l9ve to read. My son is four and a half and has an imagination like no ither and he loved this book. We read it several times in a row and each time he made up his own version of the story. Where Do Pirates Go on Vacation? According to my son they go on a wild adventure to find more treasures. I highly recommend this cute children’s book that has pretty illustrations and make a child’s imagination run wild. I also think it’s the perfect book for learning how to read. We are definitely going to check out what other books this author has written and look forward to reading many more books by her.

Another lovely children’s story that is filled with rhymes and illustrations about pirates. I loved it. While I have never considered where pirates go on vacation this book did make me think about that. The kids were fascinated with the illustrations. In fact, they would not allow me to turn the page until they had inspected and critiqued every single item. They were trying to name all the items in the treasure chest which I found to be so much fun and entertaining. This is a wonderful book. I highly recommend it for your kids, gift giving and even donating to your kid’s school library.

I found this book to be very cute and intend on reading it to my 5 year old and my 3 year old. The illustrations are very vibrant. The questions about where pirates go, in my opinion, show children how many adventures there are out in the world. I really like at the end of the book though when it asks “ Do they need a vacation when their favorite things are here?” To me this says it’s perfectly okay to be in the comfort of your own home and sometimes that is all the treasure/vacation you need.

What a cute children’s book “Where Do Pirates Go on Vacation?” is!! Because pirates are always sailing on adventures, the kids in the book wondered if pirates ever go on vacation. Do they relax, go camping, play games, dance, ever leave their ships? The message the book sends to kids is that they probably never need a vacation because everything they love is always with them. This was a cute book. It had a great message, diverse characters, great illustrations, and I loved the double layout of the book.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic. The book asks the question where do Pirates go on vacation and yet it is never really answered. It does lead to the reader discussing the possiblities of where but yet it doesn't really answer the question. Great for getting the kids to interact with the book. This book was an instant hit with both of my kids even though they are 3 years apart. The rhymes and the story fully engaged my daughter. She was listening as I read and quickly picked out her favourites.
My son loves the pictures. He identified the pirates straight away and kept trying to turn the pages to look at more. For me this was a genuinely fun book to read. I didn't mind reading this multiple times because the kids enjoyed it so much. I am pleased to see if it's a series.

This little story is absolutely adorable! This is a precious children's read about what Pirates do when they are not following maps across the oceans and looking for treasure. It's got some really cute rhyming and beautiful illustrations that make reading it all the more fun! I read Where Do Pirates Go on Vacation with my 6 year old son. He liked the book and that it rhymed. He liked the pictures and said they were very creative. They are so bright and colorful, with a wide variety of pirates drawn, so everyone can feel represented. My son thought it was cool they drew one of the pirates in a wheel chair. I think the last page should have been a statement rather than a question... but overall it was a cute book.

As expected, this is an adorable attention grabbing book for the little ones. If you are looking for a book to read to your kids before night time this would definitely be a good one. Kim Ann has done it again, an absolutely fun story about a group of people we never would have thought about going on Vacation. Pirates!!!
