Making it a Success introduces strategies that are applicable not only to students with ASD but also to those with a range of special needs and is an essential resource for all those working in integrated classrooms.
Brilliant book! It's full of so many tips and ideas when looking after a child with Autism. Much of the book I already knew but there was still so much I never thought of or different ways to tackle a situation. So much of the book you can easily adapt to your situation be it working as a teacher or TA or perhaps even a parent at home.
Things a very well explained but not in terms that will go straight over your head. Sometimes that is the worse thing when reading a book! They go in far too deep with huge explanations that are near impossible to understand unless you have a doctorate in said field but this book won't.
Very useful book aimed at parents and teachers of primary school age students and above. Well worth returning to later. Good list of strategies in chapter 12.
