Welcome to the other side of the story compared to book one since the two books happen pretty much at the same time as each other. Yes this means you should read book one first or it will not make total sense. This time we get to follow Casey as does her job. At the same time we are privy to so many of her secrets which our two male leads use to their advantage. When things go South for her while doing a job only her two fated mates can help make everything better. Does contain some really dark scenes at times so be warned. Overall a great suspenseful menage romance. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

This story had potential and I was more than ready to devour this story as the first book (Morgan) had raised my interest in Casey as she was into BDSM and submissive.
Malik and Isofea need to protect Morgan's best friend - Casey, which is not an easy task as she has SECRETS and walls are all around her so no one can reach her inside. She's a great example that getting to know another person is A key thing for a relationship.
Guys... I liked that they were truly in dominants part of themselves, but they were not as funny as Aiden and his brother. Still they were a nice pair that had indulged me in this whole story.

After reading Morgan by Claire Marta and Nia Farrell I was really intrigued to see how the rest of the series would take place. Back in Morgan you’re introduced to Casey (Morgan’s roommate and best friend) but she’s got a dark protective side to her which you can’t help but be intrigued by. After reading this book, it went as I expected, the twists and turns were there, the element of surprise was pretty great and I enjoyed getting to read things from Casey’s side. There was so much that Casey hid behind and it was amazing getting to see things from her point of view. Casey is an interesting character and I think both Claire and Nia did a great job at describing her and telling her story, although I have a feeling that things are only just beginning. I’m not sure what Claire and Nia have instore for us next, but I’m sure it’s only going to get better and better. Yet again, I found myself loving the story and being completely hooked. I honestly couldn’t fault it, and I know that I’m looking forward to reading about Raven’s story.
Casey has never liked depending on anyone, especially now that all remains in her life is Morgan and her godmother (Helena), she will do anything to help keep them safe and baring that she works for the ATF, things don’t always seem as simple as she wishes they could be. When she’s not spending time with Morgan or working, then she tends to head on over the The Secret Garden Club, and dives into her passion for BDSM. Whilst she loves being in control of her every day life, here she can let loose of everything and let someone else take the control…. But so far since being a member, she has never found the one Dom who she is willing to give up all power…. But when there’s an opportunity to find out who her brother’s killer is, she can’t help but not jump at the chance, yet things are set to get complicated when she realises who is willing to give her the information.
With things weighing heavy on her, she has no idea what to do, but then when Malik and Iosef take a sudden liking to her, will she keep them at arms length or will she finally realise that they might be the missing piece to her puzzle?

After reading book 1, Morgan, I was intrigued as to how the rest of this series was going to pan out, how the rest of the 'men' in the Citadel were going to go about finding their fated mates!
We met Casey in book 1, she is Morgan's friend and room mate, an ATF Special Agent she is nothing like Morgan. She's a badass with a gun, takes no s**t from anyone and does not hesitate to put people in their place. She is a private person, doesn't like anyone messing with her or her things. Her reason for joining the ATF was finding her brother's killer, that is her reason for breathing. She has a way to relax and recharge, and that's by being a submissive at a private club run by her Godmother, where the Doms she plays with know how to inflict the pain she craves. But when a Dom at the club reveals a way to get revenge for her brother's death, she jumps at the chance, without knowing just what she was getting into.
Malik and Iosefa have been drawn to Casey since they first met her with Morgan, and they knew instantly she was their fated mate. But getting close to the sassy and fiery Wildcat proves a difficult task. They keep a watch of her from a distance, getting as close as she will allow. They end up letting their dominant sides come out to play by joining the private club where Casey plays in order to watch over her. They realise her involvement with the other Dom is more than just playing, and turns dangerous very quickly.
A great story, different to Morgan, yet very enjoyable. I enjoyed the hot BDSM scenes and certainly did not see the twist at the end coming at all! I loved Casey's character, her badassness came out to play on many levels. Malik and Iosefa take a very passive role except for the BDSM parts until much later in the book, but they suited Casey to a tee. I enjoyed this and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Casey Guarded Hearts Book 2
Absolutely loved this second book by these authors. It was both romantic, a great love story, suspense throughout it, well written, and the characters were awesome.
Especially the storyline, with Casey being an ATF agent working undercover. Those scenes were really hot and had me on the edge on my seat because Ivan was a real jerk. He wasn’t out to give pleasure, he was out to cause pain. I could tell he was trouble from the start, and I had no trust it him.
Malik and Iosefa were sweethearts, and I was glad to see they got the girl, Casey. She needed someone who could help her get over all the pain and help she suffered through during her life. And she’s going to need it since Ivan is still around.
It’s an amazing read. Trust me. I don’t normally read PNR but these two authors are fantastic and with the BDSM it’s freaking awesome. ❤️❤️

Phew , got to say these authors don't do things by half , Morgan, the first in this series got them off to a great start but Casey , Morgan's room mate in first book takes things to another level , Strong , independent even stubborn at times Casey is leading two very different lives , one of which could even cost Casey her life . Iosefa & Makik, both shifters , try to convince that she is their fated mate & believe me she takes a lot of convincing at times the efforts by the shifters had me almost laughing out loud . A cross between a hot steamy romance & Jane Bond i loved every second of this book & even feel slightly in love with the hapless at times Iosefa & Makik can't wait for more .

I recently read the first book in the Guarded Heart series and looked forward to reading this one. Casey is a bad-ass ATF agent and prefers to decompress at the Secret Garden BDSM club. Supernaturals Iosefa and Malik believe Casey is their fated mate. But Casey’s not interested. She’s got a regular man she plays naughty games with at the club even know she knows he’s dangerous. Iosefa and Malik take drastic measures to get Casey’s attention. Will their plans work out?
This is a super-hot story with plenty of action and steamy sex scenes to keep the pages turning. Casey is a feisty character who doesn’t take any nonsense from anyone. But she’s a desirable woman and many men want her. The occasional dark violence made this a difficult read for me.

This is the second book in the Guarded Hearts series and can be read as a stand-alone, though reading Morgan book 1 will give you a richer experience.
I was intrigued by Casey when we met her in Morgan’s book, and her story did not disappoint. She is a complicated character with a story that will grab your heart strings more than once. She is also a determined woman, and super protective of those she loves and pushes anyone away who even looks remotely like getting close.
Watching her mates struggle with her independent ways, and try to curb their alpha tendencies was fun.

Even though this is book two in the series it can be mostly read as a standalone. Each book has carry overs of characters and story lines. It mostly is the main characters that carry the plot. I really like Iosefa, Malik, and Casey. Each of them feels the pull of attraction. Casey does not want to add anything to her life besides her work and finding her brother’s killer. The guys want to find a way for Casey to see she is theirs.
I like the other members of the Citadel. The shifters add a touch of humor. It is fun to see them getting used to finding a mate. Zana is able to help with the on line searches. Tobias tries to keep them all under control. It isn’t easy with all the new mates.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. I look forward to the next book in this series.

After reading the first book in the series I was excited to read this story, we met Casey in the first book she is a ATF Special Agent and one badass gun wielding strong woman, who by day is dedicated to her job but by night is a submissive at the club she goes to,The Secret Garden.
Makik and Iosefa were the two guys that think that Casey is there fated mate,I was looking forward to hearing more about these guys who are destined to be her mates and they sure have there work cut out to tame Casey ,I loved how they was always looking for ways to get there woman to notice them but she only just tolerated them at best.They was always trying to protect her unbeknown to Casey,they was just trying to be what she needed a Dom.

I've been eagerly awaiting this book, since I'm completely fascinated by this world. I love how the paranormal aspects of it slot in so well with he not so PN parts of it. I think that it works really well.
I like Casey, most of the time. I think that there are a few times when she annoyed me a bit, but I think that she was really strong, and incredibly protective. She wasn't going to let anything hurt her friend Morgan if she could help it. And she was going to do everything she could to keep Morgan safe, even from her guys. One of the things that did annoy me about her is that she worked so hard to keep her walls up, no matter what. I think that it made her life a little more difficult than it needed to be.
I like Malik and Iosefa. They are very honorable beings. They are willing to do what they need to do in order to maintain their mission and especially to do what they needed to keep Casey safe. There was one time that I thought that maybe they did something that was a little too far, but generally, I thought that they were really good.

There were times during this story I felt it was dragging, and some scenes seemed forced. Other times, I had to keep reading. Casey was a strong woman, overly independent at times. Iosefa and Malik knew who she was to them and went out of their way to get her to understand. There was a fair amount of BDSM and control, and may trigger some people. The steam in the story was also pretty hot. For the most part, I enjoyed the story. There was an HEA although the background story will continue into the next book.

Iosefa and Malik have been obsessed with Casey since book one because she is their fated mate. They have their work cut out with Casey because she absolutely does not want to have anything to do with them. She has secrets of her own and walls built up so call around her heart Malik and Iosefa will have a hard time breaking them down. Will Casey keep them at arms length until it’s too late? I am hooked on this series and looking forward to Raven’s story.

This is the second book in this series. I haven’t read the first and did feel like that mattered. So, read them in order. Casey Anderson is an ATF special agent. She has another side of her though. Malik and Malvia are part of the order of the Phoenix. Shifters meant to protect the fated mates. They believe Casey is there mate. She is hard to get close to though. So they can’t be positive if she feels the same way about them. She is guarded and believes these men are up to something. She like to play and is a member of a sex club where she is a submissive. She doesn’t have a master right now. She does get dominated by the same man lately. This man knows who Casey really is and offers to help her find her brother’s killer if he helps her by being his arm candy when needed. Malvia and Malik are afraid they may lose her so they come up with a plan of their own. To bad they don’t tell their boss about it. Things get interesting quickly. I did enjoy this book but I am not sure if I will continue reading the story or not. It just didn’t grab me.

After I'd read the first book in this series - Morgan. I wanted to know more about Casey and about why she acted the way that she did in the first book. You do get a teaser of information in the first book but this book? It gives you so much more into who Casey is. I loved the first book and this one just takes this series to the next level.
Casey is a ATF Agent and is a secret submissive who visits the BDSM club - The Secret Garden Club. This book is hot! I was not a huge fan of the Russian after he revealed himself, total asshole if you ask me.
But Malik and Isofea? I adore those guys. Despite all attempts at Casey trying to force them away, they persevere to be in Casey's life - even if deception at first was the only way. Claire Marta and Nia Farrell continue to deliver with this series.
This book is hot! The chemistry with these characters are so intense and for me felt a whole lot different from the characters in Morgan. I really can't wait to see what happens in the next book in this series.
Casey is a ATF Agent and is a secret submissive who visits the BDSM club - The Secret Garden Club. This book is hot! I was not a huge fan of the Russian after he revealed himself, total asshole if you ask me.
But Malik and Isofea? I adore those guys. Despite all attempts at Casey trying to force them away, they persevere to be in Casey's life - even if deception at first was the only way. Claire Marta and Nia Farrell continue to deliver with this series.
This book is hot! The chemistry with these characters are so intense and for me felt a whole lot different from the characters in Morgan. I really can't wait to see what happens in the next book in this series.

Promising series
Book 2 on the series and I'm just in awe, totally speechless. This book is a little more intense, which just makes me more invested in the series and wonder what's in store for the reader in the next books. This books centers on Casey, Malik and Iosefa. I thought the following books would be okay ut in no way could top the first, boy, was I mistaken! There is more drama, more action and definitely more heat with a touch of sweetness. Cameos of the other brothers are not as frequent but the story takes you to the next. Really like how everything flows between books. SPOILER ALERT: the story contains some tough narrative that may be triggers to some. I'm not fan of those kind of scenes, but these authors have a way with words that doesn't feel offensive or dirty and makes you understand why it's needed in the narrative to make the storyline work. Overall loved it and can't to meet the next brothers and their mate!

I loved coming back to Casey and Morgan and the men in The Order of the Phoenix.
Malik and Iosefa have been watching Casey for a long time. Now they can do more.
The characters were so well described that I almost felt that I ’knew’ them.
I’m looking forward to the next book in this serie.

A phenomenal Follow-up to A Phenomenal Story!
Ms. Marta and Ms. Farrell outdid themselves with Casey: Guarded Hearts Book 2! I thought I knew more or less what this story was going to be about, thrilled to start it after reading Morgan, and couldn't wait to see if Ms. Marta would tell me if I was on the right track when I told her my ideas - so sure I had figured Casey out, if not the story line exactly. I gave up reading Agatha Christy because I figured out her books in the beginning of the story, along with many other mystery authors, and I figured Casey was going to be the same. Just like Morgan, Casey grips you at the beginning, forcing you to turn the pages long after it's time to turn the lights off in your room and get some sleep but you are physically unable to do so because you HAVE to see what is going to happen next. However, unlike Morgan, Casey takes a darker turn, featuring a BDSM Dominant/Submissive storyline with the Paranormal Romance, so if you like your Heroines brazin and bold outside the bedroom and Submissive inside, this book is for you, but you need to be aware, it does come with triggers as there are kidnappings and a rape in here, both of which leave little to the imagination.

First I have to point out I loved this story . This time round its Morgans friend Casey who has her story told and oh my what a story it was. Nothing is as it seems as Casey is leading a double life one that could catch up with her. Malik and Losefa know deep down that she is their fated mate they just have to convince her and that is going to be very problematic as she hates them. Nothing runs smoothly for the threesome and you get thrown off balance as there are a few twists that you don’t expect. Once Casey accepts her fate with the pair it gets very very hot and steamy . We also saw a little bit more from the other members of the citadel and I cant wait to read more.

I’d read it again! A little smut mixed with a good plot twist. Makes me want to go on to the next one!
