A cowboy with a broken heart. An ex-fiancée with a secret... Carter Charming stopped celebrating the holidays after his fiancée, Paige, left him without a word. So he swore he'd never marry, never date, and he avoided mistletoes like it was going out of style. But when the magic of Christmas flows over the small town of Mistletoe and his mother plays a little matchmaking, will this stubborn cowboy change his mind?
I really tried to like Paige. From the beginning of the book to then end of chapter 2 I did. But then it seemed that at least once per page if not twice she was moaning about “the truth”. She carried on a great pity party until the end, she had been gone 2 years had not previously been tested? There were some typos scattered here and there but nothing terrible.
A sweet, short read to be sure. But it’s not one I would ever read again. I hope the remaining 7 brothers do not fall in love with spineless, self pitying women.
This story is a novella in length only took me maybe an hour and half to read through. The story wasn’t exactly my style and felt rushed, like it should have been a longer more detailed story.
This was a short Christmas story. A snow storm misadventure gives two people a second chance to love each other. Very easy read. Not much of a plot. However, it was a very good HEA.
