A beautiful bride, a handsome groom, and a private cruise.  What could possibly go wrong?  How about a hurricane, one stranded yacht, a few useless, scantily clad bridesmaids and an equal number of horny groomsmen?

In the midst of it all, maid of honor, Gillian Marlboro, wonders if Jamie Foster could be not only the groom’s best man, but also the man for her.  Would the universe be so cruel as to hand her the perfect man and then let them both perish on an island that provides no fresh water and only Mother Nature’s aphrodisiacs for sustenance?

It all started in first grade when Cat Johnson won the essay contest at Hawthorne Elementary School and got to ride in the Chief of Police's car in the Memorial Day Parade...and the rest, as they say, is history. As an adult, Cat generally tries to stay out of police cars and is thrilled to be writing for a living. She has been published under a different name in the Young Adult genre, but released her first romance in 2006.

Today, she is a NY Times & USA Today best-selling, award-winning author of contemporary romance. A promo ho, she's sponsored real live bull riding cowboys and promoted romance using bologna.

Very quick read

This is a book that I read in just a few hours. Jamie and Gillian are set up by her sister and future brother-in-law. She doesn't want to be set up with a frat boy but finds out that he is really not what she thought. They get shipwrecked with the rest of the bridal party and are the only two who don't freak out and panic like the rest of them. After having a couple nights of great sex and they are rescued, Gillian avoids Jamie for the rest of the week until the wedding. Will this be just a two night stand? Will Jamie go back finch Chicago and not know why she was avoiding him?

Gillian's sister is getting married and the groom decides to take the bridal party on a cruise before the big day. What can go wrong? Plenty! Cat gives us a witty, adventurous and downright steamy story. This is book 2 in her Sex, Lies, and Wedding Cake series. I had to immediately go back and download the others. A fun read.

Gillian is happy for her sister who is getting married soon. She's es happy to be maid of honor. What she's not too happy about is the last minute private cruise the groom has booked or the fact that the soon to be bride and groom have decided to try to set her up.....Jamie knows his place, he's the best man, he's the geek of the group and he most likely won't get the girl...or will he..."Geeks rule the world...onto the next
