Anytime there's singing or any kind of sound making in a book, it's a winner. So of course we sang-read this over and over and over and over. I could tell mama wanted to do it one more time, but I had to reel her in. Five times was enough and besides brother was having a meltdown that needed attending to. All the singing and acting out kept me too busy to pay much attention to the pics. 🐵🐒👑

Good illustrations that create a story throughout the song rather than just the words and pictures. Reading a song that kids are familiar with could be a great way to get some hesitant students to read.
