super helpful and easy to digest. its been a year and 15 days since i lost my mom and have been wary to look into books similar to this because of getting empty advice from people and possibly other books but it relaxed me to know that the author was writing from a place that i could relate to. it also surprised me because theres a ton of good advice about coping with the loss and getting over the embarrassment of feeling your feelings and letting people know when and when they just aren’t helping. this book came across me while i was checking in books and the timing was just too right and i’m glad i picked it up. the advice isn’t fully perfect but it is so helpful and i always love when theres a peter parker/spiderman reference thrown in there!
