Tales of the Broken Moon, Bean's Song

Rate this book
"An old path, overgrown and barely scuffed by the weary feet of travelers, meanders here and there through the forest of DarkLeaf. It passes the door of a musty little inn, known as the Silver Dagger to some and to others, just a journey's stopover for a good brew, a bite to eat, and a bit of local gossip. But that's only at first glance......" Welcome to the World of the Broken Moon, the first fully illustrated fantasy novel by Travis Hanson and Aimee Duncan. Come meet the characters of the Silver Dagger Inn and thrill with Bean, a young lad, as he journeys on the most exciting adventure of his life. Enter the realm of orges, trolls, elves, humans, and fairies as you travel through the forests and underground cities of the world of the Broken Moon!

It's a childrens book. A simple adventure story for kids but lacking any unique or special elements that might make it appeal to an adult audience.

However the illustrations are phenomenal and complement the story beautifully.

Some great world building. The action started picking up towards the end of book 1, I look forward to reading what happens next.

I know the author and that's why I read this book. Too much detail, but at the end it got exciting.
