Susie's Choice

Rate this book
Wanted. Dead or Alive. Cleaner-housekeeper-miracle worker for two housework-challenged super-busy guys. Three days a week. 9 to 5. Excellent pay for Mother Teresa. Even better for Keira Knightley. And in case we’re called sexist—better yet for Daniel Craig. When lovers Christian and Joel advertise for a cleaner, they aren’t expecting—or wanting—Mrs. Doubtfire, although one of the applicants could double as Mrs. D’s sister. But when little Susie Hood walks into their lives, scraped knees from a tumble with her bike and with the looks and heart of a broken angel, the attraction is instant and irrevocable and it’s all they can do not to lock her up and throw away the key. They want her in their bed, their lives, now…forever… She is everything they wanted, needed—but she has to want both of them. Together, separately, in any and every combination they can think of. As the sexual heat between them escalates, all three are forced to make decisions having far-reaching ramifications. Sometimes choosing love is the hardest decision of all.

Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the south of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Volcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.

After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male, her laptop.

Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they are to write.

Another great MMF story by Barbara Elsborg taking place in London. Two super sexy guys are lusting over their new cleaner-housekeeper.
Writer Christian and lawyer Joel are lovers and housemates. They desperately need a new cleaning lady to put their house and their lives back in order.
Uneducated and jobless Susie needs an income and maybe a boyfriend to escape her father's house and put her life back in order.
I liked the book. There is a good heartbreaking storyline and all three main characters are well developed and have depth and substance. The secondary characters such as Susie's father and brothers are also well described and they add positively to the story.
Susie plays a vital role in the described relationship, she is important and the centre of the attention by both men and strengthens the bond between Christian and Joel.
Christian is sweet, Joel is dominant. Together they are perfect for Susie who has already been through a few awful, traumatic experiences in her life.
Other positives things in the book include the good flow of the story, the clever dialogues, the many (...maybe too many...) well described sex scenes, the emotional journey of the three characters that changes their way of thinking and acting, lots of funny bits and a great happy ending.

****3,5 hot and funny stars****

This book has LOTS of sex, it was hot as hell. But unfortunately sometimes it was too much for my liking.

But surprisingly, it actually had a good story line too...a heart breaking one.

Shockingly, I loved the herione character; eventhough her life was unfair and she'd gone through a lot of trouble and trumatizing experience, she never dwelled on negative things or kept whining...she was full of life and funny.

“Don’t throw happiness away when you find it. Look at what happened to me. One day I was well, thinking about my future, the next day I had no future. You need to enjoy life while you can. "

I also loved Joel more than Christian...he was freakin' hot, had a strong dominant, forward character while Christian was too insecure...but well, he was sweet.

all in all, it was an okey read, I enjoyed reading it.

I love reading ménage books and whilst there are not that many well written with an m/f/m scenario, there is a huge amount of really good ones in the m/m/f genre, which Susie’s Choice is one of them and I am definitely going to be reading more of this author’s books.

Some of my thoughts and likes after reading it in one go!!!!!!

*The sex scenes are pretty hot not only between the two men but with the three of them as well. Yes, at times I felt…wow, there’s a lot of sex going on here…yes, there is…lots and lots but wow wow ….there’s a lot of creative writing there!!!! Who would have thought that a new take on Little Red Riding Hood could be so burning hot and sizzling!!!

*Though lots of pages filled with love (okay sex scenes), there is more than that. There is a good plot, great dialogue – I adored Susie’s sense of humor so very much. The character development was really good and we see the growing of the relationship between these three so likeable characters.

Joel, is a gorgeous American corporate alpha male is working temporarily in London, where he meets and becomes involved with Christian, a British writer, the sweetest and kindest guy out there, albeit with a load of insecurity issues. There is a lot of baggage here…both believe (for totally different reasons) that bringing a woman into their relationship will solve all their problems. So enter Susie, who answered the ad they placed in the local paper looking for a housekeeper.

I loved Susie. What a fabulous character. Here is a woman, who has been through an awful and traumatic experience in her life, is being used by her father and two brothers as a servant and still she manages to look at her world in such a good way. She’s witty, interesting, forgiving, thoughtful, loving and loads of fun to be with….there is so much more to her than what I first thought. I became so attached to her that all I wanted was for her to find true happiness…

The two guys….well, did they grow on me!!!! How could I resist Christian…he’s such a caring, lovable, sweet and gorgeous man and Joel..well in the beginning I had doubts but boy did he come through in the end.

Fabulous ending, which I found so endearing....now I want more.... I would love to follow their lives in New York – is there going to be a follow-up I wonder? Love it if so…..in the meantime, I will just have to visit them again by reading this book again…..it’s going on my favorite books shelf now.

This book has a hell of lot of sex in it! In the end I started to skim some of the sex scenes. Lol. I love Barbara Elsborg and I'm slowly working my way through her books. This book was pure smut but was quite sweet at the same time.

I am giving this book 4 stars cause I needed a steamy book and boy did this book cure that. This book was so steamy and hot! I was a bit nervous reading about M/M scenes, never read anything like that before but this author nailed it. They were so steamy as well. So Joel, dominant male. Sometimes too bossy but then you have Chriistan. Christian is super sweet which balances out Joel. Susie, well she is perfect for them. I don't know much about this lifestyle but hey if it works for you then go for it. The trio loves one another and there is no jealousy, just passion and love so you root for them. But with every story there is a problem. in this one there are 2 major ones, Joel. Joel loves both Susie and Christian but he is afraid of being left behind. So will he leave Christan and Susie behind to go back to the states or will he roll the dice. it was sweet how he wanted Susie for Christian for when he has to leave so Christian wont be alone. Now Bella, well she's just a snotty bitch. The story itself was good and had great flow with good dialogue. So if you are in the mood or need for steam then give this book a try.....HOT

What a marvelous love story.
With great sex.

There are two main "critiques" that I have ... and really, they're so laughably small because I like this story so much. The first involves a spoiler, so I won't go into much detail.
1. I'm not sure why Susie's..."incident" was necessary...
2. There's a *lot* of sex. Good sex, but there's a lot of it.

See? The comments are so tiny as to be almost not worth mentioning. But nevertheless. Great love story. Great characters. Believable and fabulous.

Definite re-read material.

Christian, Joel and Susie 3.5 stars.

I was originally a little disappointed with this book but that was my own fault, you see I've just discovered this author, I read 'With or Without Him' this week and absolutely loved it, I followed this with 'Crossing the Line' which literally took my breath away and then while looking through other books I kept coming back to this one, now if I'm being honest there's nothing in the synopsis to suggest that this is anything other than a book about three people and lots of sex, it's well written, funny and has fabulous characters but I'd somehow built it up to be more and I know that's on me.
Susie is just starting her life, she's looking for a little job so when she sees the unusual ad for a cleaner-housekeeper she knows it's the job for her if only she can get it.
Christian and Joel desperately need someone to sort them out, their house is a mess but more than that they need something else, Christian and Joel have been together for awhile and while they're happy together they both sometimes wish for a female to share, could Susie be the one?
This is a beautiful read, it's about personalities and struggling to find the balance, yes there's lots of sex and not that much story but as I realised its not that kind of read, it's gentle and moving, yes I was there with them wanting everything to work out, it's sad at times but as I've come to expect from this author it also had gentle natural humour running throughout.

A very emotional story. It was full of a lot of gut wrenching moments, but sometimes some of the romping and coupling overshadowed Susie's growth from doormat to independent woman... and even as an independent woman, it was not quite that independent. The end was too abrupt for me personally. It was a paragraph epilogue, very concise. I wished we'd learned more about Susie and her boys. I wanted to see more growth and more of the emotional connection between her and Christian and Joel. I had just become attached to them when the drama happens and then it's over. I would've liked more, but I guess qood writing always leaves you wanting.
I hope she revisits these three again.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes both romance and erotica and likes a fast moving story. It took me one sitting to get through this entire story.

This was good and silly stupid at the same time. Susie is a bit more than naive and then once the relationship starts she kind of has a personality change its weird. She was meek and shy and then all of a sudden a sexy minx that demands to be fucked and how she wants it. Didn't sit well with me because even with this change of attitude she still let her family, brothers and father, to treat her like crap. What was up with that especially with what she went through, even though we don't get the full history of that. Overall the sex scenes were steamy, but I found myself bored with the M/M scenes and wanting more with the M/M/F scenes, more of them together as a triad like we had in Anna in the middle, which is by the same author. Overall it's not a bad smut read, but it's also not a major thinker either lol.

4 that-was-friggin-hot stars!

Hottest M-F-M book ever!!! I've read a few M/F/M books but this is the best that I've read so far.
It's written in 3rd Person POV, which is kind of the downside of it, I did skip a few unimportant scenes but it was good.

I love the story flow, love the characters, love the M/M scenes, the M/F scenes AND the M/F/M scenes! I love how the story was wrapped up. I just love everything!

I didn't expect this book to be good, I thought it was a short novel but it was a full novel, and damn, it was good!

This was an ok read. It started quite nice but all the misunderstandings and (I can't believe I say it like that) all the sex was too much

I think I only liked Christian really. Joel was a bit of an ass most of the time and Susie was .... just not for me the right person to like

was really disappointed me was the change in the relationship between Christian and Joel. They started out great but then, all of a sudden, it was all about Susie. How this menage should work I don't know

so, definitely not one of my favourite books

What's better than a book by your favorite author? Finding one that you didn't know was out there and love it so much you read it in just a few hours!! This was such a beautiful love story of Christian and Joel, who fall in love with the girl they hire as their housekeeper. And it gets steamy..very very hot and steamy;). This is my first MMF read, and I have to tell you I did t know what to expect. I was blown away by this book!!! I LOVED it!!! A def must read!!!!!

This has to be one of the hottest books I have ever read. I have not really read a book that had so much MM action and I have to say Barbara Elsborg can write it well. It is a real love story which is surprising since so many of these erotica books are just about sex and fairly lame story lines. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys menage and wants to see some truly well written, passionate sex scenes between m/f/m, m/f and m/m.

Not your typical menage, the three parties do not fall into bed together immediately, and the the two male parties are already VERY involved by the time they meet Susie and decide to add her to the mix. I enjoyed this book, but the pain and angst were a little over the top for me. Without spoilering anything, a little communication would have gone a long way.

Susie's Choice is one seriously steamy erotic romance that's enough to induce breathless panting, drooling and a need for a cold shower or a hot male body.;-) Yet, the author still managed to imbue it with a very sweet tone. It is the story of bisexual lovers Joel and Christian who feel incomplete without a woman. When they advertise for a maid and the lovely, adorable Susie Hood shows up on their doorstep scraped and bruised, she stirs both their protective instincts and their desire to a fever pitch. It's just a matter of time before she's doing far more for them than just cleaning their house and cooking their meals.

Susie is a kindhearted, gentle young woman who is a classic Cinderella desperately in need of a Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet, and the lucky girl ended up getting two. Rather than an evil stepmother and two stepsisters, Susie has her dad and two brothers taking her for granted and expecting her to cook and clean for them. She's been through a great deal in her short twenty-four years. She had to deal with a crazy, alcoholic mother who was jealous of her beauty, and then weather through a life-threatening illness, all with only minimal support from her family. Now that she's finally healthy again, Susie wants to work, but isn't having much luck finding anything she's qualified to do. When she sees the advertisement of two men looking for a maid, she knows this is a job she can do. After all, she's been cleaning up after men all her life. But, when she shows up on their doorstep bleeding after having an accident with her bike, she's certain she lost the job. When she gets the call that she's hired, Susie couldn't be more thrilled and sets about making Joel and Christian's house shine like a new penny. As she works for them, Susie finds herself becoming more and more attracted to both of them, but with an ugly scar on her face, she harbors little hope of landing even one of them, much less both.

Christian is a freelance writer who is something of an untidy, free-spirit. He's a lovable charmer who is very open and expressive with his feelings. He loves Joel to distraction and wants nothing more than to make a forever commitment to him, but he would still like to have a woman in his life too. Christian is a sweet beta who is usually more than willing to let his partner take the lead, but the green-eyed monster briefly rears it's ugly head when Joel decides to make a move on Susie first. Christian really wanted to be the one to draw Susie into their relationship, but truth be told, he's rather shy and might never have gotten that far. He is really lacking in confidence, especially around women. I thought it was really sweet that Christian could write all the right words in his erotic stories, but gets tongue-tied when he tries to talk to Susie. He also seems to be in a constant state of amazement that someone like Joel would want to be with him.

Joel is definitely the alpha in the relationship, and he seems to enjoy playing the dom, first to Christian and then to Christian and Susie together. Joel is darkly handsome, but reticent and a bit brooding. Whereas Christian is more happy-go-lucky, Joel tends to be pretty serious and grounded. Christian and Susie are British while Joel is an American. He is a successful lawyer who was sent to London by his firm for a job that was only supposed to take eighteen months. Because he knows his time in England is limited and because of a major emotional trauma in his past, Joel tries to keep his heart locked up tight. He thinks if he can just get Christian and Susie together, they'll have each other and won't miss him so much when he has to go home, but he didn't expect both of them to stir his emotions to the point that his heart feels like it's breaking at the thought of leaving either of them behind when his time is up.

The story begins with the established relationship between the two men which is very spicy, but I can't say that I sensed a great deal of emotion passing between them. Christian openly professes his love for Joel, and even though Joel admits to himself that Christian is the best lover he's ever had, he still holds back on saying those three little words. When Susie comes in as their third, it changes the whole dynamic between the two men. I really liked the way the author added a bit of depth to the story by exploring issues like jealousy which I would think might be inherent in a polyamorous relationship, while also creating a complexity in the way in which each character relates to the other two. It all came together to make them fit together like the pieces of a puzzle. The three of them as a whole make up a relationship that is not only hot and sexy, but romantic, loving and playful. There were lots of humorous moments as well as ones full of emotion, angst and darker eroticism. I loved how sweet and tender both of the men are with Susie the first time they each make love to her, and even after that, they still take their time with her, building trust by showing her that they would never hurt her and she's free to say no to anything they suggest. They are both very protective of her but in different ways. Joel is more the type who would be ready to beat up anybody who dared lay a finger on her, while Christian is the loving, caretaker who is attentive to her needs. When put together, Joel and Christian pretty much create the perfect man, but apart they were each scrumptious in his own way.

Susie's Choice was my first book by Barbara Elsborg. I found it to be a fun, extremely hot, and sometimes emotionally-charged read. For an erotic romance, it had pretty good character and relationship development. This was only my second menage romance, but I really liked all three characters and their interactions. The author truly made me believe that they were going to have a happily-ever-after together. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and have no real complaints. Susie's Choice was a romantic, sexy read that definitely has earned a spot on my keeper shelf and has me excited about checking out Barbara Elsborg's other works.

Note: This book contains explicit language and sexual situations which may offend some readers, including menage a trois, some light BDSM elements, use of sex toys, intimate shaving, and anal sex within the following combinations: M/F, M/M, M/M/F, M/F/M.

I enjoyed this one! This thrupple starts as an MM couple, looking to add an F to their romance. Of course, there's secrets on all fronts, and there is fun and feels as all three figure their way through.

Romantic, super hot, and wonderfully emotional, Barbara Elsborg's Susie's Choice is marvelous.

This is the first M/M/F novel I decided to read, so I didn't know what to expect at first. I wasn't exactly comfortable with the idea of M/M scenes, but took a leap of faith and just went for it.

AND HOLY HELL, AM I GLAD THAT I DID!

Christian and Joel are so HOT! Hot doesn't even cover it; they are smoookin'! Sure, I felt a pang of unease when I first read the sex scenes between them. But right after the first one, as you get a deeper look into their characters, all the uneasiness just evaporated! Their characters complimented each other perfectly; Joel being a hardass, dominant lawyer while Christian is the shy and sensitive writer.

Now let me come to our heroine, Susie Hood. I'm so glad the author didnt depict her a flawlessly sexy female, cause that would've been a lack of ingenuity on her part. Susie's first description was that of a cute blonde, but not a damsel in distress. As the story developed, we see her transform from a timid 24-year old to a sex goddess! All thanks to our delicious heroes!

This is how I imagined Susie while reading the book. Lexi Belle. God, she's gorgeous! *sighs*
description

If I wore glasses, they would've fogged up when I was reading the sex scenes between Christian, Joel and Susie! They were wicked, delicious, mindbogglingly sexy and AWESOME! I'll even go as far as to say that Barbara Elsborg writes the best sex ever! Considering I've read countless erotic novels and have been impressed by quite a few, that's a BIG compliment.

What I particularly liked about the book was that unlike most erotic novels, no one was fooling around with anyone's emotions. From the beginning, things were intense between the three, but not over the top. The story had a flow and the transition of lust to love didn't seem abrupt, which is the main problem with most erotic novels. Barbara Elsborg did a splendid job of balancing everything the three were feeling.

Also, there is plenty of humour in the book, lines which had me actually laughing out loud. Susie is sarcastic and witty and it's hard not to fall in love with her character.

Ofcourse, the book isnt completely flawless. I felt like it was...oversexed! There were alot of sex scenes which, though appreciated, were still not needed. It just made the book bigger. I had the urge to skip some scenes just to get to the dialogues so that I could know what happened next. And there was also the case of Susie's family. They werent abusive but they took her for granted, making her cook and clean and do all the chores. Considering the ending, I felt like the writer should've delved into their characters a bit more, just to clear the air.

But all in all, Susie's Choise was a fantastic read with everything one could hope for in a great erotic romance novel. The characters were fun, sexy and completely lovable and the plot was perfectly designed. I'm glad I spent the whole day reading this instead of studying for my Maths exam!

P.S - It has opened my eye to the world of M/M/F erotica! ;]

For a menage erotica book, this was more than I expected. The plot was well done, it was amusing, intelligent for the genre and the characterization was so well done. Overall, a very pleasant surprise and made me immediately buy another book from this author in hopes of finding another gem.

Quick Rundown: Shy Dude (bisexual) ends up in the arms of alpha Dude who also happens to be bisexual. They fall in love despite Alpha Dude's reluctance to say the words as he's an America who's only in London long enough for a few months of work from his New York based firm. They discover a need for a housecleaner and in their search come across Chick who has a H-I-S-T-O-R-Y. Both Dudes are immediately attracted to this shy girl who has a scarred face and hope that she can become the female in a polyamorous relationship. The more they get to know her, the more they find that she's the ONE. However, with American Alpha Dude knowing his time in London is short, with Shy Dude never having the balls to make a move on Chick, and with Chick having survived such hardships in life, will they be able to overcome their own fears and trust each other enough to make for themselves an ideal happy life?

Characterization: Top notch! I never felt like I "was told" of the personalities of these three characters. I felt who they were because the author did such an excellent job. And not an excellent job because it's erotica but an excellent job for any type of book. Secondary characters were done well enough and more presence from them would have detracted from the rest of the book. While there was an issue of non-communication, it wasn't so overbearing to make one frustrated. It felt real. In all the struggles each character went through either individually or all together, one can really get a feel for the depth of the characters and their relationship to each other. And the characters ability to show who they were in front of each other was refreshing. Also the lack of communication ended up turning out okay because it wasn't avoided forever and again, made sense for who these people were.

Plot: This was a new twist in the genre for me. I can't think of any other menage book I've read that had the same heart and soul placed in it. I even teared up a bit at a couple points in the book which always earns bonus points for me. The sex scenes were mostly M/M by about halfway through then the M/F/M started to kick in. I've enjoyed expanding my horizon with M/M romance/erotica and this book did a really great job of that. Very steamy! The ending was a little quick wrapped for me. I would have liked to see more of the transition the threesome makes at the end- can't say more for spoiler sake. But it was okay enough, I suppose. While I'm fine with a book "having to end at some point", I almost wish for a sequel from these characters as I felt like I knew them and want to know more of how their relationship and life progressed.

Overall: One of the best if not the best menage erotica's I've ever read and highly recommend. While not super deep, it still had a depth that one rarely finds in this genre.

Susie’s Choice by Barbara Elsborg

This was overall a good book 30 chapters long. This story is set in England so a bunch of phrases were unfamiliar to me but I got the jest of it. Lots and lots of action between Christian and Joel throughout the book so if that’s not your thing Caveat Emptor, but it was hot! The ménage part didn’t happen for a while so be patient.

So I say overall because there were a couple of things that didn’t jive for me in this story. First was that Joel who is American, was only there a couple of months and he seemed to catch on very quickly with the vernacular. I guess some people can be like that.

Also the relationship between Christian and Joel seemed so imbalanced at times. Christian was much more the giver and Joel seemed to take it as his due. This changes a bit when Susie is brought in as part of the ménage but it hinged to much on Joel and what he wanted. I would have like to see more groveling on Joel’s part is all I’m saying. This many chapters could have been better used in developing the relationship between the three of them and a little bit less of the sex between Joel and Christian.;o I can’t believe I just typed…less sex!

A couple of my favorite lines…

“The higher up I hold it, the less painful the hot wax.”…“Try hanging off the ceiling and dropping it from there.”

“That should give him time for another wank. It was a good job masturbating didn’t make you go blind.”

“Books to read. Bitches to push out of the door.”

“Hey, you’re not supposed to find our magnificent organs amusing,”

Honestly, the only reason this gets 3 stars is because the sex was hot.
The story wasn't bad...but...
I like my MMF with a nice triad HEA. I hate it when they pair off. In this instance I would have gladly seen Susie and Christian tell Joel to take a hike...actually more acurately, Christian to tell Joel.
Don't mind asshole characters but Joel did not deserve Christian or Susie.
Also for someone who is so assertive in her sexuality, I wish Susie could have been more assertive in her life and not let her family treat her like a doormat. It felt like she was a Victorian maiden and any minute now the knight (or knights in this case) were going to gallop to her rescue.
I even skipped over sex scenes...unheard of for me.
If I didn't have OCD this would have landed on the DNF pile...but as I said, 3 stars for hot sex.

Joel and Christian need a housekeeper and Susie needs a job. Luckily, she has enough cleaning experience looking after her father and two older brothers. Susie gets the job, but she doesn't know that Joel and Christian are a couple nor that they are attracted to her. Susie is very self conscious of her looks due to a scar along her face.

I had a hard time connecting with Joel and Christian. They seemed nice enough, but I just didn't care about them. I was slightly interested in Susie. She was being taken advantage of by her family & I wanted to know what happened to her. Once I did, I didn't care to read anymore. The writing was fine, so that wasn't a problem. It's just getting harder to find a romance, erotic or otherwise, that I can read from start to finish. DNF'D at 41%.

A little similar to her "Anna in the middle" as far as the dynamics of the relationship went. One sweet guy and one closed off.

However, it was a great story. Good characters. Sweet shy housekeeper Susie. Sweet stay at home writer Christian and an American lawyer in Englad named Joel.

Realistic situations, there was anger, sadness, sickness, frustration, love and PASSION. I would love to have a pair of guys like them to love on me. HOT

Few things I didn't care for. Some of Susie's background wasn't completely explained like her education. One time she was called Anna by one of the guys. The days didn't flow either. Susie was supposed to work M,W, F but she would be working days in a row. Little details like that drive me crazy. Hence 4 not 5 stars. But still a great read.

Must read and for me personally a keeper for my re-read shelf,
If you want to laugh a little, giggle a little, feel sad/happy when a sweet girl finds a protector or two, be shocked a little and feel all around good about people, read this book. Susie is a sweetheart and she's got a problem. Here come her two heroes who have their own issues and their own life to share. If i could dream a sweeter story for Suzie, i could not imagine one as good as this.....I was completely caught up in this very erotic yet emotionally satisfying threesome book. Have I read it again and again, yes a few times and everytime, i have liked it more!

I really like this story, the characters, and how it unfolded. After I first finished it I thought there was too much sex, but thinking about it I realized Joel used sex to avoid talking about or confronting his feelings. I didn't like the way it ended. It felt too
abrupt. It suggest thins worked out with her family but didn't explain it. I wanted to see her confront them and have them aware of how they treated her and made her feel.

With 305 pages on the kindle edition I hoped for a little more character development or at least some kind of logical explanation of how a virgin became quite the nympho in what felt like a nanosecond.
Alas, it was not meant to be!
Still worth a read though if you are in the mood for it...

MMF is my guilty pleasure. I love the dynamics in stories like this. Just as Joel said “Just because it’s unconventional doesn’t mean it’s wrong or it can’t work.” 👏🏻

Joel and Christian are the perfect pair. They know when to push and pull, they balance each other out, they know each other, and they LOVE each other.

So what do 2 guys in a seemingly perfect dymanic need?

A Susie. Apparently our perfect pair is not so perfect after all, they lack something, they desire something, most of all they need something. And following them thru their journey making this Duo into a Trio was so much fun, our guys are so endearing and frustrating at the same time.

Now.. Honestly seeing Joel and Christian together is a reason to be envious. Outside they looks so happy, balanced, and well put however it isn’t always as it seems. You don’t need to read far to know that they’re a house of cards with one card away from falling apart. Both men are far from perfect they both have insecurities, fears, and demons which they downplay and hide it is no suprise they are heading towards bad waters. (Ohh la la… everybody loves drama 😉) And backstories make for good entertainment.

Now… We done with praises? Yeah, moving to things I didn’t entirely like. Nothing major
1. it’s just that her father is the worst and to the end Susie allowed him to treat her like without respect. Abuse done out of love is still abuse. (P.S Joel’s words to Susie about her relationship with her father are the best encouragement speech an adult can hear)
2. Susie was the fix for everything. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I felt so awful for Christian towards the end when Joel proclaims his love to Susi like Dude! Whatever.

Overall, it’s a great Sunday night read. Nothing to loose sleep over but good enough to stay up late for. 👌🏻

Hope you guys pick it up and read it as well.
See yah.
